Thinking of trying for a new milestone!

So, with any luck, this chapter will be complete this month! But, I may take June off from updates to catch up on some other stuff and prepare the  next chapter? I'm a little burnt out at the moment, so a few projects  are just harder to get going than others.

Honestly wish I could hire an assistant (with inking) to help finish off the rest of what we have for Space School, but I just don't have that kind of budget and I think it might be too late in the project to try to get funds for one? I'm not sure!

How much does something like that cost? $200? $300? bucks or more a  month? From what I've asked, this seems to be the case!

But, at the moment, the Patreon only makes $139 a month, not even half way to the goal! 💦

Now, this is not to ask all of you to up your pledge or anything, it's simply to be transparent with my goals for the page and Space School generally: it's nice to keep people in the loop. I'm going to set a goal of $300 for the page so that I can use those funds to help find someone to get me to the finish line of the comic: which would mean a slight change in the style, but would ultimately mean more pages (hopefully) faster and easier? And would allow me to well, better focus on projects that honestly already fund this one.

Space School has always been functioning at a loss, and I'm okay with that! It's an old comic, but one I love, and one I'd REALLY like to see until the end: but I'm fighting an uphill battle all the time, if I'm being honest.

So, I'm going to keep going on the comic as is (though probably taking June off for my sanity) but set a goal to try and hire this mysterious inker sometime in the future. I'll post about this on socials and the like and I guess we'll see how far we can get!
