Project Aether Page 14 (Blue Lines)
Added 2021-12-12 00:10:13 +0000 UTCThis is the page where we get a first good look at the chief antagonist, Levant. The themes of Levant's deck are darkness and parasites. This isn't an elemental foil to Lymselia, her deck's themes are robots, inspiration, and legacy, but it does serve as an effective foil to her thematic journey as the story progresses.
The first Avatar Levant summons is Moira, the Abyss Succubus, who has the ability to absorb the Aether of incoming energy attacks. Each deck has three summon creatures called Avatars, and Levant will use all three over the course of the story.
With the Smash tournament prize art completed on schedule, I plan on drawing one more page and then inking, cleaning, and uploading pages 6-10 by the end of the month.
