Project Cappuccino - Change Log v1.12.0
Added 2018-12-01 13:49:13 +0000 UTCThis month has been insanely productive, mostly thanks to Eide! We've been able to put almost all of our focus into the game itself and things are kicking into high gear. Here's what's new!
- Implemented New Blindfold Toy:
- Can now be purchased from Lucretia for $100. She has a new dialogue line for roasting the player as well.
- Blindfold is working with all characters in both rooms. Using it causes an increase in arousal from toys that they like. You’ll find that it’s easier to stay at x5 arousal while using the blindfold. Toys that they dislike will also decrease arousal by a higher amount so use it wisely!
- New Main Menu Theme Added: This is the final version that will likely be used in Project Cappuccino’s promotional trailer when we reach the final marketing stage. We’re also working on a new Main Menu Animation that will go along with this theme.
- New Bathtub CG added to Colette’s Berry Springs Route: Now makes an appearance when she goes to the bath and is joined by Cerise. We also added a subtle steam effect to the CG which gives it a nice touch.
- New Curse Examination CG added to Colette’s Berry Springs Route: This new CG activates during the part where Colette undresses so that Cerise can check the curse first hand.
- New Mira CG Added: Shows up in the Room 1 encounter with her at the end of her currently available route. (Day 11)
- Cafe Work Assignment Menu has received a much needed face lift:
- Optimized text assets on this menu.
- Adjusted colors to match newer UI look.
- Daily earnings now displayed at the bottom instead of the top of the screen.
- Button sizes have been reduced and character containers consolidated. Less screen space being taken by huge buttons now.
- Stress bar now glows a lighter shade of red instead of fading to gray/white when assigning work.
- Workload containers now change color to gold when you manage to assign all of the work during a particular day. (Results in a higher end of day payout and higher star rating) This bonus has always been in place but now has an audio/visual cue.
- Cerise has been added to the roster and will now show up during workdays. (After reaching a certain point in Chapter 4.)
- Implemented New Star Rating System to Cafe Workdays: At the end of a work day, you will now be able to see how well a character performed.
- Maximum of 5 stars are possible per character on any given day.
- 1 Star is the minimum and you can’t earn anything less than that.
- Star rating is affected by things such as stress level, matching type of work to the daily boon and total money earned.
- Updated Tutorial:
- Arrows now point to new locations of on screen game elements.
- Added option to skip the tutorial.
- Rewrote some of Mira’s lines to describe new star rating mechanic.
- Updated Currency Tray: Top right corner that displays the players money has been reduced in size and it’s color has been adjusted. Removed the audio mute button since it was redundant to have it there and in the options.
- Day 14 Added to Sophie & Colette Routes: Total of 2 new days to play through.
- Cerise makes her first appearance in the maid uniform.
- These two routes briefly connect at the end of the day. There are some planned days coming up that will have important choices to make that will branch towards the endings.
- Undressing System Altered:
- Removed CG’s from the story that would appear in the Undressing System. These CG’s are now story only and show up during the first time with Sophie instead of every single time.
- Clothing now fades away when removed instead of using the black screen fade.
- Colette Added to Room 1 Undressing System: (Partially)
- Ran out of time on this one but selecting her in Free Play mode will now enter the undressing stage.
- Everything is working and should just be missing her dialogue lines and facial expressions.
- Button boxes change color according to which character is in the room now.
- 2 New Macchiato Patron Request Dialogues Added:
- Random chance for a new dialogue line to appear with Sophie and Mira during busy days.
- Random chance for Lucretia to show up and get into an argument with Mira during busy days.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed issue with Space Key Binding: Clicking a button and then clicking space would cause the space key to repeatedly press the button instead of cycling through character dialogue. Game only uses space key for text and tab for fast forward. “Enter” key binding has been removed. (Thank you to the person that submit this bug report!)
- New Game Intro now mentions that Tab can be used to speed through text.
- Reduced size of “Sweet Sensations” and “Resting Bean Cafe” buttons.
- Dialogue Bubble Added to Mira’s Ethereal Sprite: Day 11, Mira’s route.
- Player Name Length Limit Reduced to 15 Characters:
- Anything longer than that would cause it to not fit on the File Select Menu.
- Save Files created before this patch are unaffected.
- Name is still shortened on the Text History menu for the sake of a uniform look. May tweak this later.
- Background Image Added to File Select Menu: May adjust the color intensity on this later.
- Changed “Inn Room” Image in Free Play Mode: Now using the background from the Undressing stage of Room 1 instead of the old crumpled pillow. This one’s a little easier on the eyes.
- Fixed Blue Vibrator Bug: Using it anally and climaxing would not stop the orgasm bar from continuing to fill. (Room 2)
- Fixed Mira Request Bubble Issue: Bubbles would not display the proper toy when she was on the right side of Room 2. Additionally, bubbles would sometimes display multiple request icons.
- Adjusted Position of Cerise’s Left Request Bubble in Room 2: The previous position would cause her face to be covered.
- Fixed Character Standing Bug: Quitting to the main menu and loading a different save file would cause the hearts to display an incorrect amount of affection. Now resets properly.
