Feel like the ending video was edited before you could hear the victims scream whilst being shot now it not in the video

Dj Neal

Give boys weapons, kill their friends, and force them to kill innocents abroad, then act shocked when they come home and do the same. There's an opportunity for a rich psychological terminology there, but it continues to be a much-discussed but little-studied population. Mostly people seem too busy gatekeeping the language of trauma/PTSD born of veteran experiences, from being used to describe and aid other trauma victims. A great irony is that if we actually listened to the vets, and not just the Tate wannabes that are weaponizing their experiences, it would stand to make a lot of real change possible. They're actively disenfranchised and dismissed as damaged because their knowledge and opinions are so inconvenient.

Cat Warren

what did the narration say?

Kettle Man

Markeith literally gave an eye for an eye

Brandon

This is one of my favorites that they did. The unedited original one though before they changed the dialogue about the police encounter at the end. Sadly that version no longer exists that has his narration during the final sequence, it seems to have been scrubbed from the internet. Even from Patreon. Also those words “I’m glad to be getting out of this place.” will probably come back to haunt me on my death bed, especially after my dad died last summer, and he had PTSD and Bi Polar Disorder.

Masterful. We all wish you'd come back, JCS!

Liz

Whats the password?

markeith:"i dont know nothin about no guns" lawyer: "did you have any guns?" markeith: "oh yeah, i had 2 in my wasteband"

Regardless of their pasts, it's hard to feel sympathy for someone willing to execute a person begging for their life...

It's gross to hear ML's lawyer act like he's a victim.. his handcuffs were too tight. He deserves a lot worse. He has no remorse whatsoever. Then he's whining about the way the police treated him! You were armed and dangerous smh. What an absolutely deplorable human being... he is absolute scum.

How to watch this video, it is asking me a password

Markeith Loyd = Gods gift to women... according to Markeith Loyd 😳 Jury selection for Markeith Loyd is on now October 16. 2021.

kiu (aka kirstine)

“I don’t know guns” twenty minutes later “I had two guns”

So you trust the police to be the only ones with guns?

enthralling as usual, I cannot understand Americas love of guns, it's so obvious that getting rid of them saves countless lives

I think this is why we have judges. When you see shit like this, or when something horrible happens to you or a loved one, damn straight you want them dead. We can't be impartial. A judge can distance themselves so we don't fall into state sponsored murder. Because we would. I mean I'm not exempt. I'm a victim of violence and I want the death penalty for the perp. That's why I shouldn't determine the sentence.

Hannah, the precious lil onion of the east

I feel bad for Saade and the kids also the vet's poor dog

Bottom line is he should have NEVER had multiple guns on him in the first place, especially as a felon.

He wanted a baby so bad yet he he killed that opportunity in a few minutes...why does he have 2 guns on him anyway with multiple felonies? If he gave a fuck about her or the child he would've died for them.

Fantastic ending, sent shivers down my spine

I wonder if the defense casually overlooked murder when mentioning he "flawlessly followed conditions of his release"

Stop you are making to much sense...

So sad hearing that women recount the murder of the police officer.. How cruel do you have to be to keep shooting someone even after they fall to the ground.

im so upset by that video of him shooting the officer it just really reminds you that people DIED and its more than the words "someone shot someone" no like suffering agony pain everything went down too i hate this :( if there was video evidence for every cold-blooded murder im pretty sure nobody would even think twice about sending someone to death. fuck that other guy too! hes lucky the worst damage he got to him was a beating.

Each video has its own password in the description

I'm a patreon but when I try to watch this video it asks for my password, but it keeps saying wrong password. Anyone knows why?

Tyrone Biggums for President

Someone give that woman chapstick. She is the living representation of that crackhead character from Dave Chapelle.

Lola

She made him shoot her huh? This is the bottom of the barrel scum.

I was just waiting for the girl at 15:20 to lick her lips

Chris Hale

This was masterfully presented. I was wondering how these two cases would tie together and I was not disappointed. Left me with chills.

Keri_

Go to the summary section and you will see the password for that particular video written down in the summary section for that video

The password is in the description underneath the video

When it asks for a password, is it asking for my Patreon account password? Because it's not working.

I have watched the YT version (it's shorter), and no, he absolutely did not.

Does he kill the dog i dont wanna watch and find out the hard way

Jraven

Anyone trying to say excuses are being made for a murderer, you're an idiot. No excuses are being made. Reasoning is being given. Mental illness care in America is broken and non-functional. A lot of the people who end up in positions like this needed help for years and never received it or were never properly educated on it. If more Americans were willing to just fucking ADMIT that they have problems, and they aren't normal, and they might need a professional's help, I'm willing to bet that crime rates would drop SIGNIFICANTLY. But no, most American parents (who usually have mental illnesses themselves, unchecked) just want to believe that THEIR child could NEVER possibly have a mental issue. THEIR child is perfect! But in reality, that's almost never the case. And then they do stupid shit like encourage joining the military. Don't even get me started on the military. All that is, is a war indoctrination cult that turns people into tools. Andy B. here was just one victim among MANY of the disgusting practices of our armed forces. And because the system failed him, he failed the system. Yes, he should have been held accountable, but so should the people who made him that way.

who asked?

Luke Swisher

This guy def. won the lottery when he got the shit beaten out of him

Look guys! I found the racist!

Quit making excuses for that POS murderer. Me and a lot of other people grew up extremely poor with a single mom. Guess what! None of us committed murder or even have a criminal record. The problem with America is that so many people make excuses for criminals. If a community holds criminals accountable, then things would actually start getting better. This culture of celebrating, defending and making excuses for criminals is what is tearing apart the fabric of society.

Aaron Coleman

Leave it to the mongs to defend a dude who murdered an unborn baby and his own girlfriend, not to mention a police officer, and you sit there and make excuses? In your eyes, is murdering three people in cold blood a good way to escape poverty?

Stop, you’re making too much sense

The Markeith Loyd case to me is a perfect example of some things that are bad about America: his poor single mother wasn't able to provide a safe environment for her children, greatly increasing the risk of criminal behavior. He is convicted for narcotics in his early 20s and lives half of his life in a masculine, violent, survival of the fittest type of penitentiary environment and on release is expected to fend for himself while homeless, unskilled and uneducated. Even in a welfare state people like this are extremely likely to reoffend. The worst thing imaginable is allowing people like that to carry guns, or anybody in the lower social classes in general. Given his situation and the evidence I don't think these are first degree murders. Given the seriousness of his offences I find it weird to take how he was treaded by the police into account for his sentence. Let him sue for damages (and deny his claim because he provoked it) and take disciplinary measures if officers misbehaved. And finally, why are this separate cases? He killed his girlfriend, went on the run and shot a cop in the process - it's the same case. I think it's inhumane to let poor people live in these conditions, lock people up in violent prisons, release violent people into society whithout looking after them, allow people to carry guns for 'self defense', let police operate above the law and allow for these emotional games in court (especially by the prosecutor).

Keeping subbed just because of videos like this. Thanks for the good analysis of society issues.

well its a different situation, this case was basically oj simpson v2 , complete lack of professionalism from the police along with clear corruption and abuse of power negated the crimes in the eyes of the jury and so they were way too light with the sentencing, and in oj's case let him off completely

Anyone watching the Derek Chauvin case? People are surely treated differently. George Floyd was less of a threat than Markeith Loyd. I guess a counterfeit $ 20 bill, does more damage - in the eyes of Law Enforcement, than a guy threathning to kill his pregnant GF. He ultimately killed her and a police officer. The sad is, his GF knew he would end up killing her.

kiu (aka kirstine)

This video is the proof of how you guys are on an ABSOLUTE another level in your nieche. My proper respects to everyone involved, I don't know if is a team ore just a person but god damn you do fine work.

Dokk

Just joined the patreon, best value ever

jonnyboy162

Thank you.

Absolute gut punch ending also. Bravo.

I like how the youtube version is shorter but also adds more details. The breakdown of the final footage was very interesting. He really was trying to get shot first. Tragic story all round.

Courtroom dynamic was actually facinating

The screams make the entire video much, much more intense. It's a man suffering in his last couple minutes of life. I saw the unedited video years ago and still remember his screams.

That last sequence with that poor officer terrified me. I’m a funeral director so I deal with death every day, and despite having a love for true crime videos, witnessing violence is something I cannot stomach. I often listen to JCS when I am going to bed, but this ending part brought me back from the drift of sleep to move my phone speaker away during the officer’s heavy breathing. Absolutely blood curdling. I for one was actually surprised that people said the video was censored. I’m thankful because I can’t imagine how much worse those screams would be, and I don’t want to imagine it either 😔💔

Well he wasnt sentenced to death yet...

Well Dylan Roof didn’t decide to FIGHT with the cops. He surrendered without incident. Btw, the police did NOT take him out for burgers or whatever either. Dylan Roof will get whatever he deserves under the law, he’s not getting away with anything.

Dylann Roof isn't half-blind... I'll just say that

Mike

Markeith Loyd's courtroom performance was cringe, from the first words out of his mouth to his last it was obvious he was full of shit. Life in prison and missing one eye he got off lightly.

He might have had them for some time

I don't know why the war vet had a gun, I've been trying to see some comment about it. Am I dumb but he was known to have PTSD and be aggressive at this point?

We live in America and there is no mob justice. The police are not judge, jury and executioner. We have to stick to our principles, even with a POS, or else they mean nothing. Sorry you can't understand that.

That helicopter camera zoomed out so fast lol I mean I know it’s not but it was so abrupt. And the guys lucky he didn’t get shot they could of easily killed him at he abandon house and the cops just he pulled a gun on them or something

I've worked in a nursing home with ww2 vets when i was younger. The damage they took is unimaginable. They have been through such extremes yet gotten nothing from it apart from mental illness.

I’m going with Hispanic, but you can stick with Italian.

i dont think so, the video can be found uncensored anywhere, even on youtube, which is much more strict with this kind of footage. But who cares, this channel is about criminal psychology, not about showing horror and violence to ammuse some viewers. If they want that tho, everyone is free to search up on various platforms like liveleak, kaotic or in this case even youtube. You would be horrified what you can find in some corners of the almigthy and "family friendly" youtube.

Whoa! Anyone else realize the post editing that cut out the cop scream? Wonder if this has something to do with the no June or July new release? Hmmm?

They should've curbstomped him til he died.

Ahri #1 Fan

Please keep doing videos related to military personnel, and the psychological strains they endure and damage they sustain as a result of their service to the very nation that often abandons them when real consideration of the reasons for their conditions are ignored and/or forgotten because it is often considered too much effort to treat and care for them properly in order for them to function as healthy members of society.

It's so sad, I know. However, let's take into consideration this officer was only 22 years old. I'm 26 now. I think back to only a few short years ago and being 22 years old, it wasn't that long ago but I feel I was so young at that age. Trained or not, he was still so young. I do not think the officer ever expected anything remotely like this to happen from some general speeding stop. That's all it was in his mind - someone is speeding, well time to pull them over and grant them a ticket. Job done. Normal everyday lowkey cop stuff. Instead, he happened to unfortunately encounter a man so twisted up by PDST. We can all pass judgment in hindsight of what he should've done, in the safety and comfort of our own homes. Officer or not, who would expect a man to jump out of his car in that manner? That alone would just simply throw you off...by then, shit hit the fan so suddenly for the poor, young, unsuspecting man. I don't judge him nor his actions at all. Those who do are simply niave. Those who judge the cop are those who are lucky enough to never actually be in such a hectic, terrifying situation.

You have a similar story telling style to Adam Curtis, thanks for this.

I bet being shot to death is worse

Thats the most sterotypical Italian interrigator i have ever heard...

wait, am I supposed to give half a shit about the piece of trash that murdered a pregnant woman and then a police officer who seemed to actually be one of the good ones? yeah no, I'm not that easy to manipulate, the police should face disciplinary action for not putting the piece of shit down like the rabid animal he is

TizMcFitz

The footage was released censored by the police you ignorant cock holster.

Definitely

When the guy started dancing in the road and asking to be shot the officer should have been trained sufficiently to think hey, that's not exactly normal, maybe the dude has some mental issues here. Or he's drunk or high. Definitely softly, softly first. All over a bit of speeding too. Tragic.

1- The officer asks why Andy is exiting the vehicle because, by law, the occupant of the vehicle is supposed to stay inside the vehicle and wait for the officer to come to the window. If the occupant exits the vehicle, then the officer must be cautious and assume hostility. 2- There was no way for the officer to know that Andy was a war veteran plagued with PTSD. It's not like the guy had that emblazoned on a bumper sticker or something. In the officer's perspective, he hailed a man to stop his vehicle, he exits the vehicle, becomes hostile, walks back to his vehicle, and pulls out a gun. The police officer is not psychic. 3- There really is no telling what triggers PTSD. There are various triggers, but with that being said, was the officer supposed to know what triggers would make Andy violent? Of course not. Because he didn't know he had PTSD to begin with. And again, how would he know? 4- Your rambling about "officer bias" and "indoctrination" sums up Jim's point. Appeals to emotion can cloud logic and make things worse. In your screed the only thing I agreed with is that both the officer and Andy didn't deserve to die. But everything else is just unintelligent screeching and appeals to emotion, rather than approaching the subject with any logic. And I also don't agree with your "officer vs. military" mentality, because it's not about that. It's about two men who made decisions that eventually led to their deaths. Such losses of life were awful, but you made it a cops versus veteran thing. That's just messed up.

Mask de Plainview

You can find the unedited video on youtube and the officers screams are horrible absolutley horrible, poor young man only 22 and with a beautiful little family. May he rest in peace.

Man I really wish you hadn’t cut the last part. It was a very powerful video, and to me it negates the point of the video in a whole. At least on YouTube you explained how tragic and soul crushing those screams were. Now the main point, the climax of your video, doesn’t make any sense, and I understand it was graphic. That was the point though, wasn’t it?

wow

probably so probably not

This case haunts me the most. I am glad that we abolished the death penalty in the UK. This guy should have been sentenced to life but not death.

Was the video at the end censored??

daaaang dark

i liked this one. i wasnt sure where u were going with it because of how long the lloyd segment was but good job because it all tied in well

I am new patreon subscriber for JCS, tho I've been watching your videos on YouTube some a couple of years. My mum iis a psychologist so I've grown up with an understanding and interest of psych issues and my recent fascination with true crime has meant I have found my home with JCS videos! ! So rare in the field of true crime to have serious attempts at more in depth analysis of not just 'serial killers minds' but the entire context is given and analysed - showing how things like media, culture, politics, policies, discrimination, racism etc, all influence and mold the moments, the events, the people we see paraded before us as criminals in today's TV world. I'm so grateful and want to express my thanks that I can come to JCS and get intelligent deconstruction and analysis of what lies behind the crimes we see today, which are getting harder and more disturbing to hear about, yet almost all have a road on which it all unravels - one where lessons can and should be learnt. Thank u for that in this YouTube world we have JCS. Xxx

That's a huge oof from me. Brilliant work.

Wow Jim, outstanding video once again

This was your best work yet Jimmy

What a beautiful perspective that covered many affluent f actors

Wow. That’s all I got

bc iphones suck ass.

trintdaddylandis

What a superb video. The way you intertwined these two stories is just fantastic.

Why can I not watch this in side view on my iPhone? This is so frustrating.

Cody

That’s why I’ve hesitated to see this video. I remember that dash cam as a kid and remember the original video and audio. One of the saddest things to hear and see is the loss of human life through any violence.

What an amazing 58 mins of viewing. Markeith should be hung.

hell of a ride

Welp! He should’ve shot the mother fucker between the eyes! How you let him get back in the car! Markeith is a coward how dare you blame your victim! They should’ve gave him the chair! Sick fuck! So sad to hear that girl say she wasn’t gonna live to make 25!

Bravo, Jim.

Great video!!!! The outtro got me a little choked up as well. I love these videos with the extra editing.

OMG I remember watching body bags coming home on commercial airlines, students protesting and Kent State. None of that hit me as hard as the opening to this video. America, what have we done?

Donna DeMeyer

you can literally hear the life leaving his voice at the end. chilling

man ptsd is a really messed up thing to go through

Wow what a tragic story for Andy B, and for the officer that he had gunned down.

Seems like the cop car footage was cut? Bummer but I’ll never forget that blood curdling screams from the officer.

I only watched once but I didn't hear any threats, he just kept saying "sir, back up/get out of the vehicle/put the gun down"

Greg

Shit I couldn’t hold back either

New member and I just watched the video. Jim, according to the comments seems you edited the video towards the end. I just want to say I greatly appreciated it cause that was terrifying to watch.

Femme_Fatale305

the end made me ball my fucking eyes out.

Omar

Poignant.

Marika

Man he deserved that beat down but they should have held back.

My man is on the stand answering questions looking like hes in the washer on delicate mode lmao

The intro and outro are chill producing. Beautiful work

I think the whole point of the modern day gun laws is so that the people can form a militia if needed. But this law was written when the country was still in 13 colonies so it's very outdated but the National Rifle Association holds a lot of political power so saying your for gun legislation and trying to even pass any type of regulation is impossible for congress and especially with Trump in office. It's quite miserable. But also that veteran just had a shot gun, which would likely never be banned in the USA since it's a basic gun for hunting. However, this guy was an ex-military man so his form and accuracy were crazy compared to a new cop. I have been impacted by too many random shootings in my life. Too many have died due to gun violence.

Don't know if this is my isolated view as European, but I never witnessed someone die before (not like this in tv / news etc). The audio as the poor guy stops breathing... I know that guns are part of US culture, but shouldn't guns which are more powerful than those of the police be banned? The officer had no chance.

Why wouldn't there be?

I saw this in my FLEO academy.

This is interesting. There appears to be more "outrage" on the Loyd case than there is for the Vietnam vet case. This thread alone is deserving of a analysis by JCS.

Robert T Wells

um spoilers bro, spoilers

Walking piece of trash brutally murders pregnant wife, attempts to kill her brother, guns down a policewomen, THEN HAS THE AUDACITY TO COMPLAIN "oh boohoo the cops are beating me up :( :( :(" WHO FUCKING CARES? Fuck that makes me so mad.

Mir Berthelot

markeith scumbag loyd is a poor excuse for a human being. I am against the death penalty because of the fact that we've legally murdered innocent people but loyd is as deserving of it as a person can get. When it came to the other two cases, though ptsd may be a reason, it's NOT an excuse for murder.

Your meant for something, hang in there and surround you’re self with positive people. You can see from these videos how quick shit can hit the fan...

What screams? That copper? Hardly screams.

My partner killed himself by gassing himself in our car (while I was pregnant, just for bonus ptsd points) where I found him and I developed PTSD, Now my mum, step dad, younger sister, step brother, sister in law and partner are all dead (murder,, cancer, suicide...oh joy) and yeah, it gets worse and worse the more trauma you encounter. Thankfully I have no easy access to weapons as I'm aussie, but it's pretty sobering seeing how fearsomely things can progress.

What, like the USA?

lol I love how god is an automatic mental illness flag

Poor doggie......the insanity and cruelty of humanity knows no bounds. Beware the beast Man. Alone among God’s primates, he kills for sport, and lust, and greed. Shun him: If he is permitted to breed in great numbers, he will make a desert of his home and yours. For he hath becometh death, the great Destroyer of worlds.

How do I watch on Vimeo?

hopefully not

Why do criminals always unload when they don’t have any more ammo?

Why has the video been cut?

Best vid yet

Geez... Tough to watch. Tragic, terrible story all around.

This video was a hell of a ride. Wow.

Dang. Those screams were rough...

TJ Barke

where does he find this raw vietnam footage and other war footage?

Wait a second. Is the JCS channel not going to create any more videos?

Someone else said this too but I can't find where he said that

So today is the F5 day, eh?

I have seen this video in it's entirety used as a training tool multiple times. Obviously not judging the officer in a moment of life and death stress but still trying to take what learning points you can from the encounter. 1. The suspect approaches the officer twice in an aggressive manner and either comes close to or makes contact with him. 2. The suspect is obviously not responding to verbal commands and they are actually escalating the situation. 3. The officer is aware that the suspect is retrieving a firearm from the vehicle well before he actually gets it out. You can hear the officer commanding the suspect to drop the gun as he is rummaging through the truck. 4. The suspect is obviously mentally ill/under the influence of a substance based on his behavior (dancing in the road, shifting between hostile/joking). The usual train of thought is that the officer reacted much too slowly and was justified in using reasonable force to restrain the suspect as soon as he aggressively approached him, definitely for his own safety when he is dancing the road and most certainly when he is observed retrieving a weapon from the vehicle. No one can really say if different tactics or techniques could have prevented the situation from escalating but it seems as though the suspect was in serious mental distress and may not have responded to any encounter with authority very well. Some things to ponder, the officer was 22 years old at the time of this encounter. Is that a sufficient age to be patrolling alone and be capable of handling this kind of situation? If the officer was equipped with a less lethal weapon such as a taser would that have changed the situation? (Keeping in mind the limitations of tasers; distance, ineffective if the suspect is wearing heavy clothing etc). Overall in my opinion a tragic meeting of unfortunate circumstance.

When do you think the next video will get posted ?

Looking forward to the next video. Hope everyone at JCS is well.

Where did you see it’s the last?

39k now already, 5 days later 1k more!

This was the last one... you didn’t read his last post?

New video soon?

Absolutely love the new intros. So beautifully made, well done! The structure of this video was perfect, almost like a Shyamalan twist. The difference between hearing a description vs watching the dash cam footage at the end was pretty astounding. Thank you for providing such amazing, informative content!!

came to say the same thing. its almost 100% less dramatic. the bit at the end of the shooting was surely what sent this guy down and I recall it but I went to rewatch this one to take more of it in and even thought of skipping it only to find its been basically muted out. I think its a transcoding type issue though you can hear something in the background, like we only have 1 channel of stereo or something.

Did they really use the fact that he had a bulletproof vest as justification for the police brutality? I'd love to see JIm's take on police training. Was the guy really trained to just keep screaming at him like that? I don't see how that would deescalate a situation even at the best of times.

How do you mean? If you were in that seat and heard the sounds of those screams immediately before deliberation the death penalty will probably seem pretty reasonable.

Kizzume is just the narrator. Seems like a good guy though.

I have come to realize it’s not just your videos a need so badly. I find that it’s just your voice. I just found your personal YouTube channel and me ear drums have been completely quenched. Check out his channel kizzume on YouTube

He's a real person and yes a real pro for sure!

Anxiously awaiting the next video

Pepe

It's a real dude. He has a youtube channel himself. I forget his name

Has anyone noticed how JCS narration is absolutely flawless? Never a cracked voice, mispronunciation, mis-timed breath, or stutter. Also, the tempo and inflection are robotically consistent. It takes me 10 minutes to perfect my voicemail greeting. Either the narrator voice is a real pro, or JCS is a computer synthesised voice. Anyone?

The hairs of my neck spiked at the end. Masterful way of structure this particular story. It reminded me of Kieslowski's "A Short Film About Killing (1988)"

mind putting subtitles in your videos? much appreciate! :)

There’s a button to open it in safari and you can go horizontal once you’re in safari.

A Suggestion that I think would be benificial and make a lot of people happy. Consider for a couple more dollars per month, you post little behind the scene edits or snips of an upcoming video. That way you can keep working on your project while people complaining people have an option to see the work that goes in that requires the amount of time it does. While satisfying their need for JCS content. Love you

The shootout was edited and the officers screaming cut out since the first time I watched this video. Why?

I'm not saying what the offices did was ok however they were clearly emotionally charged; he killed one of their own and I really can't say I feel sorry for his injuries, like the detective said he deserves as much respect as a rabid dog that needs to be put down for its and all of or safety.

Moral: If you train a dog to bite, do not be surprised when it mauls its owner.

As always Jim, you did an outstanding job at this. Speaking as a war veteran myself, I know that our military give enormous sacrifices not just with their lives, but also with their minds. So many of us came home in body but our minds never did. They stay behind. It's heartbreaking to see.

Where is the Becky Watts case? Loved that one!

where did the interrogation of Alek Minassian go?

JCS is a production team, not the name of a person! And the Patreon interface for videos is limited and buggy, so i hope they find a better platform soon, or Patreon ups their dev game a bit. I'm sure one of those things will happen soon. Because this is absolutely world-class content - a dollar a month is a steal at this point.

38000 patrons all paying 1$/month ? Jesus the money Jim is making now is incredible..

youtube demonetizes true crime profilers and takes down videos more frequently. Patreon is the only place he can post and receive appropriate compensation for his work.

If you chop the suey with the huey it'll fix it.

If you chop the suey with the huey it'll fix it.

Why have all your videos changed to this new platform? ALL OF THEM??? I don't know if this is an American platform but I can no longer use chromecast? I can with YouTube and vimo but not this new one! I can't watch your videos on a phone, what's the point?

Please please upload to platform's that we can chromecast to??

Hey, I see your point, but I think ultimately the video served a deep purpose and tied very well to the video's message. I don't think that this officers death was lessened, not anymore than the many other deaths described by this channel and many out there. Perhaps you are closer to this situation in particular where you wished that one aspect of the video was more important, but the video was just never going to say what you wanted to say. This video left me deeply disturbed by the death of the officer, but it also made me understand the underlying message: watching a video personally ties you to the scene at hand. You feel deeply for the victims and are harsh to punish the perpetrator. You forget that those people lived lives outside of the crime they committed, and they had actions that aren't easy to summarize. There isn't an excuse for what that veteran did, but perhaps his punishment should have made the nation aware to the PTSD given to it's citizens.

I love the work you do with the videos but you should have left the officer Dinkheller video untouched. Your point was to show how emotional a video can make you yet you cut out the most emotional parts. You cut the parts that show why this video is used in police training today. I am a little upset that you did this. You lessened the impact of this officers death and his father would not be happy about this.

After the officer had been shot multiple times already, is looked like Andrew was retreating (or was he just reloading) before a shot was fired by the officer, Andrew then approached and killed him - it doesn't seem like the outcome is likely to have changed but you could wonder. Tragic for everyone involved.

Sam The Man

Your work is INCREDIBLE and I will be so sad if the videos ever stop. It seems too good to be true!!!!

Just better than TV PERIOD

IYAAYAS? 26 years as an AMMO Troop here, retired CMSgt.

You don't sub on YouTube because he's not on it full time? Interesting...

RyeRob

Ive spent the last 3 days totally focused on watching your vidoes i honestly think the way you lay them out and describe is brilliant. Ive never seen anything like that and a few friends are joining. I wish u were full time utube, i would defo subscribe. Thanks.

Thank you for embedding the player! For some reason Vimeo does not want to load. Even with 350 mbps lol

I have never become a member of this site but when I saw your videos I knew i had to see more. I love the way your videos are put together. The psychology is fascinating and the way you present it is key. Thank you.

I think those last gurgling breaths are much worse.

The storytelling and editing was amazing. This is by far your most compelling and well put together video. Great job, I'll be showing it to other people.

damn...that made me cry

the use of irony was very well done, start and finish.

All the words in the world can't help sometimes. We just need to give more training and help officers be as prepared as possible for when these things happen.

That was so tragic. That poor officer. I must say, I don’t think the take away here should be that cops should be better at shooting to kill... this poor guy seemed to have zero deescalation Or mental health crisis training. And that’s what cost him his life.

Interesting how they were trying to use his belief in or personal relationship with god as an insanity defense, but he had to put his hand on a bible and swear an oath to tell the truth. The insanity of religion - they say god is real and you should talk to him to get stuff but if he ever answers back - you're crazy.

Christie DeSapio

Wow. the video at the end kinda shows why cops can be somewhat trigger happy. NOT to be an apologist for unnecessary force, but its a reminder of what they can run into out there. The dude was legitimately scary. When he was getting the gun out I was shouting "Just shoot him already!" bc now its fully within reason to feel his life was in danger. Poor officer, and i cant imagine what his family went through. Jim, can you cover the Pamela Hupp/Russ Faria case? I think it would be interesting to break down Russ Faria being an innocent person being interrogated in contrast with what pamela hupp was doing.

interesting that you guys edited out the officer's bloodcurdling scream. that to me was the most disturbing part of the video hands down, and probably is what made the jury come to their decision. horrible case for everyone involved.

Evan Gates

There is no Jim. There are several members of the project, with the narrator being Kizzume (a Google search will allow you to find him).

Fantastic episode, really great how you structured it, and showed the strange juxtaposition between these two cases and verdicts.

I second this I'd also like answers!!

The oldest video in the police interrogation series is part 9.. where are parts 1-8? Can anyone let me know where to access them? I am addicted and I cannot stop watching. I need more. I must watch more.

Nice that 1 dollar a month for incredible videos is too much for you

Amazing work!

True crime loser has a couple episodes on him. He’s nothing like JCS but I like his stuff just as much. He’s funny, sometimes factually inaccurate but he makes me laugh.

Sarah

Jim, I would be really, really curious about your opinion on the Daniel Holtzclaw case. If it would be any chance to make a video about the interrogation and the whole case, that would be awesome.

Man, I’ve seen that Andrew Brannan clip a couple of times, but the backstory is just... wow. We really need to do more for our vets

Just finished the War Machine video on YouTube and the recent rise in production quality (which was already very strong) is making me wonder why you aren’t being picked up by Netflix

this as well as the rest of your content is worth so much more than a dollar. i'd say that the film industry is missing a gem but you're too good for them too.

I need to get in touch with Jim. Does anyone know how?

Uh, maybe watch again? Did the military start Vietnam? Did the military send Andy to Vietnam? The answer to that is no. The military is just a tool used by people in higher power...Don't forget Andy was not taking his antipsychotic medications for the two weeks leading up to the shooting. Thus, to lay all the blame, as is from your spoken perception from the video, on the military is, in my opinion, misguided and irresponsible/lazy. You also said "The 'bad guy' in the whole story wasn't the killers...It was the military." You said killers - plural. How is the military in any way responsible for what happened with Markeith Lyod, I don’t recall him being in the military? Videos such as these, in my opinion, are not to be used as solely identifying one causing factor. This video identified and presented a plethora of factors that led to what happened to Andy. This video also presented what happens in the mind of a jury when they are presented with video evidence, as opposed to spoken evidence, and how that effect can override what the jury may hear after the fact when hearing from the defense as to what may have caused Andy to act the way he did. In the very same tone, this video presented this effect can also be used by the defense in the case of Markeith Lyod in which the video showing the callous and negligent acts by police potentially saved Markeith Lyod from the death penalty.

Honestly I thought the same thing, that one is just as good if not better than this.

Jim Reeder

I know I wanna see the holtzclaw vid

Jim Reeder

Holtzclaw was one of his first videos but he removed it from YouTube, I’d love to see that video again along with the other early interrogation videos. One of my favorites was Jeff the junky who was much smarter than the cops conducting the interrogation.

Jim Reeder

I'd love to see your breakdown of the Daniel Holtzclaw interrogation. Reminded me a lot of the Stephanie Lazarus upload. They use a lot of the same strategies which I thought was super interesting.

One of my most favorite videos you've done. That last bit, bringing the whole story around and then using the irony of the music like the opening? Jesus Christ, dude. lol Well done.

I really appreciate JCS's ability to present an often unpopular opinion as fairly & understandably as possible. The "bad guy" in the whole story wasn't the killers, it wasn't the victims, it wasn't even the police. It was the military. It was never actually said in the episode but it was a clear theme & it really resonated with me. Thanks for another great episode

The new one on his YouTube is his best video to date, saw it twice back to back. Brilliant content as always, just wish there was more

For all those wondering, there is a new one on his youtube Channel

Jim, do we get new videos if we raise our pledge, or access to previously published? Thanks, man!

Why is police interrogations 1-8 and 10 gone? Even here I cant find them, sad to see amazing content gone. And the original Russel Williams video is gone too. Anyone know why these things are gone?

Jim, I admit the foreshadowing in the clip you found from her social media (the second part of the video) was something else. Holy moly. But I just want to say thank you for this video. I told my brother who is a cop to watch it, especially the second part. Can't wait until he watched it, I want to discuss priorities with him, and this clearly emotional case is a perfect topic to start off from. This video was a superb update, I could not have asked for more. The first part really hit me hard, because it felt like I was watching the definition of tragedy. Thank you once again, I LOVE your videos!

Skynet

Wow, that was stunning. Thank you so much for making this! I always feel after watching your videos this sense of conviction, and that I’ve gained both a deeper sense of compassion for people, and a curiosity about how people might act, a sense of knowing even less than I thought before.

Mallory Maisner

He'll likely get the death penalty for killing the cop. Self defense is a garbage defense since the witness says he just pulled his gun out and started firing.

John Myzell

What this country did to our young men in Vietnam will forever be a black eye.

John Myzell

I m so fucking glad I paid 1 doller for this... lol... this is the greatest purchase In my life!

The intros on these are so damn GOOD. Love you guys so much, hope you’re staying safe. ❤️❤️❤️

Alauna Rose

Me too.

Same here, JCS is the 1st channel I liked enough to make me come over to Patreon. I had never even been to this website before and always kinda shunned it, but this content is just too good.

This is the first time I’ve been compelled or interested enough to go beyond YouTube and become a patreon member. You have excellent videos and your insight is invaluable. Thanks for taking the time to make these. Are you trained in forensic psychology or a former investigator?

some are free to YT, some are bonus patreon content

Is this the first time the defendant has used a swivel chair 😁

why wasn't the war machine video posted here first??

Mike Joe

I’m sorry but I think you got the date wrong for the battle you showed. Battle for hue or otherwise known as the Tet Offensive, was in 1968, the bloodiest year of the whole war.

Juan

F*ck this guy and his lawyer all the way to death.

it seems so, yes - but I think the video then included the final (deadly) shot in the eye, as the officer stops rattling/breathing...

Those cops in the second case screwed themselves over. The suspect definitely killed his wife, unborn kid, and a cop. Yet the cops should have followed protocol. Their behaviour meant justice wasn't done. They sabotaged their own case.

Jim, did you cut the video of the Vietnam veteran and officer gun fight? Those 5 seconds carried the most impact. No doubt. Screams of agonizing pain of a defeated man on the verge of death. Perhaps its for the best that you cut that.

I cant stream to the tv with this platform!!

He really deserved to get his ass beat. I thought "Hell YES, KICK HIM AGAIN!!!"

For those of you that don’t know, there’s a new vid up on JCS YouTube channel. It’s a really good one!

Sarah

Awesome as always. Stay safe out there

JCS this was your best. Thanks for also bringing the light to what our military men and women deal with when it comes to their mental health. This quality content is why im a patron. You can’t beat the depth that JCS goes into with his research and style.

LT

awh man the thumbnail pic gives me chills.. i discovered that dashcam footage on youtube as a kid and it messed me up

So glad i subbed man! Your videos are A1!

Mike Gray

Don't you feel like you asked too much for your "$1"?

New video on YouTube

New video on YT

Jim. Ive been with you since the beginning and im not considering unsubscribing but please give us more than 1 a month..... please.

This is your best ever video - and that is truly saying something.

"idk what gun it was. im not a gun person" later: "i had two guns on me" brooooo

This is some of the best work that you have done exclusively for your patreon audience

Andrew Brannan also said he killed the officer "because he let me."

Thank you for giving us a time to skip to - I saw that dashcam footage when I was young and talking to the local sheriff about wanting to be a policewoman. It really shocked and saddened me and I couldn't force myself to watch it again, but it has not scared me away from pursuing the career. The sheriff was a bit of a hard ass, but he wasn't sugar coating things for me and I could not appreciate him more for that.

Such a great video. I unsubscribed on Patreon last month because of the one-per-month upload rate, but the production quality of your videos far surpasses what I watch on Youtube. This put me into a spin at the start - why does a combat veteran deserve death above a cop killer claiming insanity? The last video here doesn't change my attitude. I'll never understand the American state death penalty - for me dying in jail seems like a far preferable level of justice.

Chris Green

This is one of your best videos. I love when you use the big picture to add depth to the cases presented.

NotNB

hey, i absolutely love your videos, but some news in relation to new videos would really be appreciated. or is this just tactic so that people prescribe to your patreon?

Jim, on the new video sources you are using. It doesn’t allow iPhones to turn the video sideways landscape mode. It’s orientation is locked. I tend to watch on my phone a lot is it possible to look into this? Thank you!

My god, the sheer terror in that cops voice is absolutely haunting.

Acadia Mercer

Thanks, Jim. Another great production. Really appreciate your work.

I absolutely loved this video! Great content like always. Dollar well spent

Juan

Every time I try and watch it on my iPad it gets about 1/3 way through then just crashes. Nothing. Really frustrated. Is there a platform more compatible? Help!

Kate is Great

I just want to watch On my friggen TV

You're absolutely killing it on patreon man and you deserve to the fullest so i'm happy to see that.

Clearly we have much to do when it comes to our military and mental health issues. Had this man received the proper care consistently then maybe this could have been avoided. Thank you for the great videos Jim. I look forward to watching them as soon as I get the alerts.

Super interesting, thanks!

Jenna Twerk - NSFW

Thanks for making your content accessible and so thorough. Keep it up!

been waiting for a video dude

I love your work! Patreon membership is worth every cent.

bro the ending made me cry. dont do that lmao

I love you and your team. I can taste your work......

I would pay $20 for 2 videos a month deadass lmao

Bella honey xx

love u Jim.

Cant watch this horizontally on my phone :(

$10 a month for 4 videos monthly who’s up?

Everyone who is unfamiliar with the Dinkheller shooting and lamenting the vet's tragic story should know that the video shown by the JCS team cut out the cop's screams of terror, only to be answered with "die fucker" and a final shot in the face. Maybe they thought it was too graphic to hear. But no jury was going to not convict with the death penalty after hearing that. My sympathies are with the cop's wife and 2 kids.

RJK

Looks like we wait till April 30th for the next vid huh?

When is the new video coming out and are you done uploading on YouTube? I know you said the new video was a pain in the ass but that was weeks ago and I’ve been eagerly waiting ever since

That's really cold.

I am trying to cut costs but I can't get rid of this. Your videos are too provocative and impartial. I love your brain! You need to be on Netflix. RIP to those innocent and not so innocent victims. Markeith can rot like the garbage he is.

That guy was evil.

Yes, its heartbreaking all around. What a disgraceful way America treated our vets.

As much as I want to agree with you, I am on the edge. I think he's at peace now. As I do feel, in his times of clarity, his heartache for that officer must've been horrible.

thats bananas.

Very Sad. Still shouldnt have executed the poor disturbed man

Well, the first thing you need to know is his name, Jim. And, he can't swim. That's all you need to know. haha. Oh yeah, he makes great videos.

I was wondering about that too.

Sarah

Hi all! I'm new here - just subbed today. Where can I go to find out more about Jim? I mean I love all the videos but I also like to get to know the person behind it all.

Why was this video edited? It takes away from the brutality that that officer went through.

Youre an A-hole Jim, you’re starting me make me feel guilty for only paying only $1 a month. This stuff is GOLD

One of your best vids yet Jim. Shout out to Kizzume as always!

Mordecai

Woah black betty

more episodes, please.

Thanks for cutting the original video murder video to make it more bearable for presentation. It was extremely hard to hear

Despite the context and knowing what was about to unfold, I found the dance and phrase at 54:22 to be hilarious

You’re absolutely right about having to break. I had to do the same thing, this video gave me a nasty anxiety attack when describing how he sheltered himself and went on incredibly long hikes with his dog for solitude (something I still do very frequently.) I just hope I’m never put into that situation. But I am broken beyond repair, that I do know, and his last words “I’m glad to be leaving this place” wasn’t about prison, it was about life. It’s the same exact thing one of my teammates wrote at his suicide note.

"Fair" goes out the window when you attack a cop. At least in the US.

Still feel for the veteran. Especially with a shred of context, it's obvious he's fuggin out of it in that video. The cop's whimpering at the end pulled on the old heartstrings a bit but I don't know if he was fairly treated by that verdict.

Christ Fuck that guy that murdered his kids but also god damn those detectives.... the American system never fails to disappoint me.

Violet Chavez Gilbride

im a huge fan of your work, JCS, but id just like to acknowledge that the opening scene of this video made me sick to my stomach. Watching the rest now

Curval

You should look into murder of Cassie Jo Stoddart. She was housesitting & killed by 2 "friends" who wanted to enact a horror film & video it all. It is horrible but there may be vid avail.

Tina Prehogan

That final footage made my blood boil. my heart hurt so much for that young officer.

"was there, uhhhhh... every a time, uhhhhhhh... that, uhhhhh... you heard... voices?...." Markeiff's lawyer

greg

10/10, what a fuckin intro and outro. Love your content and will always be subscribed.

fantastic content as always

Another amazing watch. I swear, you guys should do documentaries.

GaryMeadows52

Brilliant video. Great work as always Jim.

One of the best ones you've done yet. Glad to pay to keep the subscription going.

Dennis Marciniak

Point taken! Harsh lesson, but important lesson. Thank you.

This content is in a class by itself. There is no other show one in this vein. on any platform that even approaches this level.

TZP

That poor police officer......he had ample time to disable the vet, but for whatever reason, decided not shoot and ended up losing his own life in a shower of bullets......man.....

Awesome episode, thanks jcs

DANG. that was excellent.

stfu

Igor Pašek

wow amazing

Ian Harris

I’m glad that it is only $1! These are made for TV! Jim, you have a real gift! Thanks for sharing it with us!

Your narrative abilities in writing, directing, and editing are outstanding. Absolutely worth $1.00 Thanks Jim

you're paying a dollar a month

Can't help but feel for the Vietnam vet. And the copper of course. The vets were just left to rot after they came back, and innocent people paid the price, along with the vets.

This channel is the ONLY channel I would pay for access and this video is exactly why. Very well done.

Damn. This one really hit home.

Michelle Urioste

Keep it up! I as always loved it.

Love your vids, keep up the good work

One of your greatest vids yet!! Thank u for your stellar content. We appreciate all the work that you do!! ❤️

Love your content! People that complain about him posting need to quit. He charges a buck a month! You have no idea what real world job he has going on and what he is doing on his off time! I appreciate all the work he posts

David Allen

You’re a racist

Jeff carpenter

You're awesome, thank you!

Damn, you really knocked it out of the park with this one.

you don't post enough

Need more officers like him. Should of beat him to death and watched BLM screech

Jeremy

I love all of your videos!! Can you please do a psychological breakdown the King Tiger documentary featuring how Carole fucking Baskin got away with murder??? Thank you!

This slob can’t even wear a belt to court, wear a shirt that fits him, yet alone tuck it in . This brutal murderer disgusts me on so many levels

Kevtron

dont blame you for cutting out the troopers screams of terror

at leaST ONCE A MONTH OK PLEASE.. i LOVE YOUR CHANNEL.. iF YOU NEED IDEAS... i WILL SHARE IF NEEDED.

i love all your videos, but this was new

loved this video, i like the new stance

When you're trained to kill other humans and do just that in service of a 'noble' goal, something has to break inside of you -- something that can be unbroken. I'm actually surprised the Vet kept it together (a relative term) as long as he did. Don't think the public at large (especially in the U.S) understands the full extent of the sacrifice these soldiers made in service of their country. As for guy who killed his gf and unborn child, he strikes me as living by the laws of the jungle..not long for this world. How he got that way, and what creates that kind of person bares some examination. Kudos to Jim S. for another insightful and thought provoking creation!

Truth Erupted

PTSD + bipolar, he should have been in a hospital. The other one should have taken his place on death row. Great video, as always JCS crew!

"My only regret is that you're breathing right now"

This is one of the most powerful videos I’ve ever seen. Amazing work. Thank you!

SuperWhimsy

One of my favorite things about this channel is how much more versatile the content has become over time, while still retaining its core focus. When it started out it was just police interrogations, but the expansions into courtroom footage, incident footage, interview footage (Prince Charles etc) have all been done with equal insight and professionalism.

This is one of he most powerful videos you've put out. It really did drive in the point you were aiming for perfectly

Great work you guys are doing otherwise, I really appreciate it

Something I really miss thats in the videos on youtube is english sutitles, for us foreigners.

Yeah! You get to the end of a video, and all you wanna do is share it with someone else. But with patron-only content, that turns into a sales pitch. I'm no sales person. So it's always a bit of a deflating moment.

That happens to me in Chrome my Android phone. Doesn't happen to me on my desktop (Firefox on Windows). HTH.

TY Jim, the first case was interesting. but that second guy I couldn't bare to hear him talk. so i had to skip most of it.

Vimeo stops loading every time, is there another play you could use? Would be really appreciated.

Finally got Patreon..... literally just for your videos lol

He was what they made him, and now they destroyed him.

did you pay attention to the video? JCS is comparing PTSD boy to the other guy who ALSO killed a cop but didnt get the death sentence.

This was very well put together. I love all your content. Sad your YouTube stuff is vanishing

PTSD boy got the death penalty because he murdered a cop, I don't see the dilemma

Thanks for another great video JCS keep up the good work.

Yep, he deserved a swift death. Those cops were merciful. I'm surprised those officers interrogating him didn't lose their cool & beat the fuck out of him. Watching him try to excuse his murder in court is sickening.

Kid Wizard

wow. really powerful. good work with this. that shit is haunting.

America sure hates veterans of a lost war.

Stewart Morrison

well you simply cannot act as authority under emotions. you are trained (or you should be) to be professional. I understand there are exception in extreme cases but still police reaction backfired in the eyes of public (or jury ). nevertheless I think the bigger punishment is to rotten in prison alone than die

This is America

Mar Keith lloyd deserved everything he got.

Poor little Markeith. He got kicked in the face :( He should get a kick in the face every minute of every day until the day he dies. Piece of trash.\

His dad kinda looks like AL BUNDY

Ally Jade

Thanks for the interesting content you do! Is there a way to get the vimeo links with passwords along side the embedded video? I like to cast from my phone to my tv and doing it through the patreon app doesn't work but I can't open the video in vimeo. I did a little look around to see if I was just missing an easy solution but can't find anything. Help from anyone appreciated!

Thank you JCS again for a detailed video. You are awesome.

Great video as always Jim! I hold the opinion that that vet was terribly mentally ill and that shooting was not entirely his fault. In his condition, even the words “die” to the officer may have been less severe (to him, in his delirium), like reality was glossed over and he wasn’t killing a father of two, but just a nameless soldier trying to kill him. I’m not saying he was in the right and he most certainly should have been jailed but death row?! Hasn’t the man suffered enough for several lifetimes not just his own???!!

From the video, yes. What took place after the video though, I don’t know.

Well the video I watched yesterday is different from the rewatch today. The officer had a high pitch scream as he realized his end was near. Seems Jim edited it out after posting. Never been a fan of censorship.

Was the dog okay?!?!

if you listen closely, you can hear andrew brannan say "die fucker" before he takes the last shot

Jim I have been watching your docs for a long time and they are very uniquely engrossing. They are a pleasure to watch, really.

Libbie Nelson Bullock

At minute mark 53:58 JCS added a note "Warning highly graphic Go to 57:00 to skip" Past 53:58 it is the video of Andy B. and the police officer on the officer's dash cam shooting at each other. You don't see the murder happen, it's more disturbing in what you hear. I think most people could handle watching the full video, but some people may be more sensitive than others so it's up to your own judgment. (I'm sensitive to gore myself, so I understand being hesitant to watch videos without knowing what's in the video beforehand, so I hope this helps)

Did you cut the footage?

Just read some comments.. It wasn't my just me. 😂

Andrea

Is it just me or did that judge not pay attention to the entire trial?

Andrea

really enjoyed that one Jim!

that judge really do be posting on her fb timeline the whole time xD

war is hell. why am i always watching these before bed...

i don't think i'm that heartless, but markeith interrogation didn't struck me as that odd. the other video where a guy is clearly losing cognitive abilities because of police negligence was far more unnerving. in markeith case he looked like someone who just didn't want to walk with police

Can anyone tell me why this is marked for viewer discretion? And a time stamp if possible? I really like JCS, but almost all of these videos are for viewer discretion and to be honest I'm a bit scared to watch them.

great work as always Jim, by far your best vid.

Good stuff as always sir!!! My wife and I have made it tradition to have a date night once a month where we have dinner and watch your new content. Until next time, Stay SAFE, much love.

excellent Jim. thank you.

Great video. Enjoyed it alot. The surprise at the end realy got me.

Quality work, JCS.

"You guys beat me up" crying cause he got beat up meanwhile he murdered a cop & his pregnant girlfriend. I could barely get through that, what a piece of fucking shit has the audacity to play victim when he killed 3 people!!!! WTF! Jim, my guy, giving us the content we so desperately need during these trying times. THANK YOU!

Mir Berthelot

Absolutely amazing video, better than anything you can find on any network or streaming service, such a moving conclusion.

What I like about Jim is the constant improvement in his videos. Some may not like the slow burn in his "old" videos but I did, but now I feel like he has gotten to the level of accessibility for most people. Pretty good rearranging of facts and directing to make solid points.

Works on my iPhone but not IPad - anyone technically minded and know how to fix this!? TIA

Does anyone know why all of the other videos apart from the last 2 uploads are not accessible or is it just my account with issues?

You deserve a Netflix series to say the LEAST. Keep up the incredible content!

Yea, Jim let the viewers off easy on this one. I can still clearly remember that scream.

It's easier to think that when you haven't seen the full clip, which shows the Vet walking over to the officer as he's laying on the ground and shooting him as he screams. His mental illness was a contributing factor, but the murder he committed was a deliberate act of malice.

Dire Weeb

Its aggravating to see the judge just nose deep in her computer literally the entire case.

Even with the video the Vietnam Vet should never have been sentenced to death. Outrageous

It's amazing Bernie Sanders has time to act as a prosecutor in Florida while running for president.

I don't disagree with the replies all I'm saying as a black man and the way this country is set up that's the first thing I see.

Another great effort. Thank you.

WOW ... JCS is BACK

Omg...stop

well done jim wow just wow

@Jim Stay safe out there with this apocalypse going on! I don't want to be in a world without these vids. Also can we pay more to get videos more frequently? Name your price!

Damn the ending... damn Jim, you got me big time. His final words are so, so tragic. Through all of it he wishes peace for the family of his victim and he still remembers his comrades in arms. The Vietnam war was a human tragedy and should never be forgotten. I hope he found peace.

Very cool. I can't be the only one in quarantine dying for more content from JCS. Come on Jim, pump them out for us!

this might be the best video so far. i love how it has a clear beginning, middle, and end. the way it ties back into itself is lovely.

I appreciate you editing that clip down Jim, it still gets the message across loud and clear and is easy to see what happens. But I don't think I'll ever forget the scream that officer gives out... That sound is going to stick with me for the rest of my life.

whens the other one coming?

Shit, I do belive you just brought me to tears with that poignant ending jim.., & pour a drink for all the other War veterans, used, abused, & discarded by their Governments. Thanks Jim...

Exelent, many different psychalogical topics explored in this video.

Really well put together Jim, great editing!

That was among your best work to date, thought provoking, engaging, and fresh, with just the right amount of appeal to emotion to not leave the viewer feeling you have an axe to grind. The closing segment was executed(unintentional double entendres) perfectly, pulling all the elements together very succinctly. When you watch tons of true crime content, it becomes very difficult to find something that stands out after awhile, but this one definitely does. JCS video alerts instantly put me in a good mood. Looking forward to the next one, thanks so much.

Thanks for all your hard work! Can't wait to see more videos and hopefully different works in the future, similar to your in depth military series or the inner workings of the prison system. Fascinating stuff, been here since the beginning of the patreon so keep it up and thanks again!

They are consistent once a month.

William Daniel Faircloth

Fucking hate that second guy in 2nd part good for the cops he's a coward complains that he's "hurt" murdered a innocent woman and cop

This was a great Video, Jim I need more consistency

download the vimeo app, make an account and then save this video to your watch later list. You can cast it through the app

Is there a way to cast this video? I don't see an option as I would with many other players.

This man’s testimony during trial was infuriating. What he did was reprehensible. It creates a deep conflict within me, when I consider not just what he did by taking so many lives, and also what was done to him during his arrest.

Sweet a new upload. Thought it wasn`t coming until tomorrow. After seeing the thumbnail of the OIS dashcam I knew where this was going. It`s strange learning the whole backstory after seeing that video for a decade or two and wondering.

yeah, editing it was a bitch move and the first time I feel compelled to call JCS out. we're all big kids, Jim and Company. We can handle the screams or click stop.

Censoring the shoot out was a bad move, the words that proceed it are no longer true. It was the horrifying screams that made the uncensored video that I watched yesterday very true. It was a great video though.

Just finished the video, and damn does this one SLAP. That ending was very well built up. Whoever had the idea to mash these two cases together was great. Whoever made the decision to present the titular case in bookend fashion is a true asset and I just want to say thanks again for the amazing content!

Donsconsin

Really wish you would have left it raw and uncensored Jim, the shock value along with the clear point proven compared to now was about 100x more effective.

ZapTRunsIsh .

I MISSED U THANK U FOR THIS VID

You trimmed out the screams?

ZapTRunsIsh .

Poor baby, under duress and in pain, awww *sad face

Autumn R Arnold

I've never commented on one of your vids before, and I just got past the intro, but I gotta say that this was one of the best intros to any video I've seen. I used to build bombs in the USAF so it touched me a bit. Perfect song choice for it as well, thank you.

The video is about the effect of video evidence... but the Dinkheller video is edited to remove the most shocking and prejudicial part? I'm confused.

Yeah, same here the parts were he was shrieking are gone now! I Don't appreciate the videos getting censored, you really lose part of whats actually happened. People need to learn from that. Same thing happened with the first War inspired video, you took out the part where the man stepped on the IED and blew up yet survived.

I keep getting a "unable to play video. Tap to reload" error.

when i first saw it it was in, now its not

They left out the part in the shooting where the cop shrieks as he’s being shot.... actually makes the video 10x more horrific to Jim’s point!

He should’ve got blasted at 3:25 remaining. It’s a privilege and a curse I guess

His lawyer is YOKED as fuck. Jesus.

I heard curb music every time the pregnant woman spoke in the video with her boyfriend. I know you did that on purpose, and I appreciate that.

So as recompense for being savagely blinded, the kind, kind jury sentenced him to a lifetime of compulsory servitude to his attackers. Couldn't have happened to a more deserving guy.

Zigzagman

This was the first post I dreaded watching cause I immediately recognized the shooting from the thumbnail.

the dashcam footage is mad. i knew what was comnig jsut from the still of the video as i saw it a while back, and everytime his screams hit me. RIP to both of them.

TerrinPS

Jim, as usual you did a great analysis. That last bit of dashcam video was chilling.

JHC, that shooting was beyond disturbing. I have a huge lump in my throat and it takes a lot to get a reaction out of me like that.

Brannan https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Kyle_Dinkheller

Pierre Pressure

sound like you're from Memphis, mane.

also of course there’s an incredible amount of edgelords on youtube— acting as military vets or “acab” people—leaving grotesque comments about a kid they just watched being straight up murdered. of course

C boi

Why is there no google results for Andrew Brannen? Am I spelling the name wrong?

suddenly, i remembered watching that dash footage on youtube like 10 years ago as soon as i saw the warning on screen. can’t say i gained much from watching it again...

C boi

ok that video is gonna give me nightmares

I’m so sorry that this happened to you and your sisters. I hope y’all are in a better spot in life. You’re right, my grandfather to this day is still has issues that run back to his time in Nam.

So true, I've got a light form of CPTSD from childhood and even then it almost unbearable at times. Any goods meds you know that work and treat it in your case?

As someone with complex-PTSD, I honestly cannot imagine having bipolar disorder as well. I wonder how it is that his bipolar disorder didn't present sooner.

Amazing what video content (or lack thereof) can do in a court of law. You made excellent points in this poignant review.

Really good video props to the great intro especially

luja

2) I couldnt be involved in either case, would have put bullets in both of their heads until unrecognizable

The flower of a generation lost. My sons are the exact age early twenties late teens. An those poor parents of the vet who lost their son to suicide lost their son in an airplane accident and then lethal injection. And three of their sons drafted into the war. Wha a nightmare. The video was horrifying yes. But I wonder about training that doesn't try to deescalate the situation. Or call for backup. Especially when the guy was dancing around just keep yelling and yelling obviously caused very unusual reaction deputy screens patching a wife parent listening to the dying screams of their husband or child like that.

1) You keep outdoing yourself JCS keep it up

I’m about to watch this now... this shit bout to be so fire

That poor officer. I weep for him. And Sade and her baby, and that lovely lady officer. Both of the murderers should have been executed

Just.Fucking.Shoot.Him.Allready!! Put that poor guy out of his misery. Instead he took a good man’s life, and he was put down after.

Sending thoughts + love to the whole JCS community during these times. Thankful I have this content to pass the time!

The purpose of showing the case of (human garbage) was to demonstrate the power of the way evidence is shown, and how that can effect the verdict. If we had the same video of (human garbage) loading bullets into the body of officer Clayton, he would have certainly received the death penalty. In the case of Andy B. and Kyle, you hear him screaming for his life only to be cut off as he was executed. (Human garbage) executed officer Clayton in the same way, except he has no mental illnesses or trauma to show for it. He simply hates police. He deserves worse than he has already received, and worse than Andy B. received.

a smart move is just repeating the same mantra over and over. given he was on camera it was even smarter than asking for a lawyer.

F**king deputy Kyle just couldn't let him slide.

"We went to get a pregnancy test and it was negative" - - "I believe the baby wasn't mine" ~ Loop hole, he has a lot of loop holes but that one should have been a big one to see. First its located at a store, now its located in her back yard. Got this prick can't keep consistency. Wish ghosts could actually talk, we would hear about how much this dude is a piece of shit.

I seriously hate that Markieth guy because I really hate obvious liars and this guy acts like he is some saint walking among demons. Everyone else is jealous, angry, evil but not him at all. If a mentally disturbed veteran cop-killer can be sentenced to death why not this obvious danger to society cop-killer? Hopefully more justice is served with the officers trial because there is zero doubt in my mind that this guy wouldn’t try to kill a security guard in prison or even in court to try and escape.

Miggi

says stop and then fires when the vet’s back is turned. def had it coming to him.

Thanks for the video Jim! Really appreciate the effort you put in as always X

That dude was crazier than a shit house rat but still remembered his military training

Great video Jim.

As always, you made an excellent job Jim.. I was waiting for a new video! Thank you so much and keep up the good work.

Little piggy came across someone he shouldn’t have fucked with (a real man) Wrong place wrong time.

great stuff. totally shocking ending (the video). your sympathy/empathy understanding for the vietnam vet is admirable. war sent the poor man crazy.

yikes, what is wrong with you?

I would assert the opposite. The vietnam vet was white and so shown no mercy. The black perp although having killed a pregnant woman along with a police officer was granted leniency due to be able to cry police brutality and get media sympathy for being black.

My heart is so heavy after watching that last clip and hearing the officer terrifying screaming. I feel so sorry... Great content as always Jim's team. Stay safe everyone.

You don't see much but it is very distressing screaming so I dont know if that makes it easier for you to watch or not but thought I'd let you know :)

Josh Evans

Absolutely heartbreaking that the police officer was only 22 years old. You could hear the youth and uncertainty in his commands. Jim (et al) another amazing video. Thanks and keep them coming please. Been looking forward to this since you announced it the other day :)

Josh Evans

Those screams... my goodness, I've never heard anything so terrifying. Those were most certainly the screams of a dying man...

Boslo Kerginitch

Excellent video

& this video isn’t mostly about one perp or another it’s about the effect video evidence has on any given case. Seeing much of the trial just emphasized, how much of a liar that dude was but due to the video of his mistreatment by police, he was saved from the death penalty . The opposite was true for the first perp. The video of his demeanor & overall attitude while mercilessly gunning down that coo, regardless of his past trauma, merited him getting the death penalty. Such good content

Sad what happened to the sheriff but can we be honest and admit if that guy was black...HE WOULD HAVE NEVER MADE IT BACK TO THE PICKUP IJS

So well done Jim! The way you carry a theme through several cases is always So good! Same theme but different aspects of it & essentially bringing out the best & worst case scenarios of said theme. You cover a subject so completely & thoroughly. Just great work.

Jim, excellent work, narration, and discourse. I appreciate your work in sifting through the violence and madness in this world to bring us some understanding on it's causality and life line.

Chris Kirchner

I really liked this video, just like I do all your videos, but most of it is about Markeith, so I feel it's kind of wrong to call it the case of Andy B.

This was one of your best. Fantstastic!

Wow fantastic video. You never cease to amaze.

I will never forget the screams of that officer. My god.

Excellent as always!! My stepfather came home after 4 tours in Vietman and proceeded to rape myself and my sisters we were 12, 11 and 9. We lived in Camp Lejune at the time and we were hardley the only ones, both abused sexually and physically. Nam not only damaged those who fought there, and lived there but the wives and children of those whom took these damaged men back into our lives. May those who have PTSD from this war, and in the current one, seek professional help. Those who are damaged, leave generations of victims in there path.

Thank you again for issuing your warning before the graphic scene. I watch your videos because I enjoy your analysis. It was late tonight when I started watching this video and I didn't want to see anything too graphic so I really appreciate it. Maybe I'll save it for the morning time.

We're fine, thanks.

Catherine DeWitt

This is why I’m paying for this content!!! $1/month best deal ever

I work in private, nonprofit rehabilitation and homeless services in Canada. I recently sent a young woman to an AHS (government run) detox facility. They turned her away for having the sniffles, apparently this is a symptom of Covid19, ya sure. That was the only symptom she had. They told her to self quarantine for 10 days and come back. Wtf? Where does a homeless person in addiction go? They did not give her any other information. No suggestions even. She called me and I thought she was full of shit, as she has been many times. I got angry with her accused her of lying, gave her a 1800 number for emergency services, and then I thought what if this one time...so I called the facility. Sure enough they did turn her away. I asked the question, where is she supposed to go? This is one of the only places still taking people in the city. Where does she isolate herself? We are not testing because there is a backlog in the labs. So my point is we are all trying to help each other, however, we are not being helped by our infrastructure

I think you are slowly teaching us how absolutely crazy this world is. We fight each other and manipulate our class or lower. The people in power play chess, we are used, abused, thrown away, react emotionally and then used again. This I nuts.

Great stuff as always.

thank you for another excellent video! really appreciate these

Another excellent video from the best channel on youtube or patreon. This Vietnam video and the music cut up my heart like a single mother campin’ in dingo country with a sharp pair of scissors.

Jim Reeder

That didn’t even occur to me, you’re right. What a compassionate soul the officer must have been.

Awesome video as usual Jim! Thank you for putting out your work even during the worst pandemic in the world to take our minds off the suffering for the 60 mins duration of this video. This brings me to the struggles of active soldiers and veterans who have been going through horrible mental and physical tortures for doing their jobs! I hope one day we will not require them to do such a brutal job but it could only be wishful thinking. I wish all those struggling would seek help and receive it.

Expertly crafted Jim, you really know how to drive a point home. Those screams might be the worst thing I’ve ever heard, but it’s necessary to get the full impact of the video and gain a little more insight into how we as human beings are influenced by various forms of evidence.

Great video Jim, some really great insight to a very disturbing situation.

Shevchenko

Wow, fantastic, dark, and disturbing video.

That was definitely a hard watch. I feel bad for that officer. Those screams and cries hurt. I respect him for how many chances he gave the other guy to surrender but ended up paying the ultimate price.

I got shivers hearing that cop scream. I hope all of the unfortunate souls lost in this video have found peace by now.

Keep it coming JCS

Kind of been wondering about that myself

During the final dashcam footage, I remembered the PTSD at the beginning, but almost forgot by the end. Extremely well-crafted video from the team, thank you

In my country they would have continued the beating when they brought him back to the interrogation room. Broken nose for killing his girl. Broken jaw for killing the cop. Fucked up eyeball for killing his unborn kid. He should have been beaten to death. I would like to shake the hands of the cops who kicked his miserable ass.

Jim Reeder

There's an even longer video out there of other police officers arriving. Their reaction is brutal.

Police officers in America have one hell of a difficult job, that last clip gave me goosebumps. Thank you JCS for such great quality content as always!

Probably the best video you guys have put out. And that's saying something. Good work.

War is hell

Great episode. More of these please, I don't want to see you again in another month, make it sooner.

Great video Jim

Some people just have nothing nice to say. Geez. Thanks Jim for making this during an awful time when most of us can’t even concentrate or hold our focus due to what’s going on in the world, people losing loved ones every day, masses crying and worried. Hat off to you💓

The agonal breathing Tb at the end was cut. That’s the worst part.

Ill say it again, dude makes over 30k a month from us but cant be bothered to upload more than once a month.

That last bit really broke my heart. Amazing how you combine these two stories, Jim. I make it a mission to tell people about your content, but hopefully they won't be able to teach you how to swim away.

Bookended beautifully. This may be your best effort yet. And the best $1 I spent this month. Hoping you will post again soon, but understand that perfection takes time!

Having the cheerful music during the war photos right at the end had such a huge impact following the shooting video. It's been about 10 mins and I'm still shocked and devastated from what I saw... 😳😦😭

This is a severe addiction. Caint quit watchin

Jim Reeder

Just what I always wanted. An ex-con delivering my food, which gives him a legitimate reason to case the joint and possibly have my payment info. That's just fucking great.

just imagine it was you being shot at , you would of pissed your pant's , you coward

JCS does not narrate the videos, the narrators name is Kizzume, he has his own YouTube channel.

The final clip was terrifying. Thanks for the video, Jim.

oh man! Jim Can't Swim + Shirelles - things ain't all bad!!

Mike Joe

If you hadn't said PTSD was a mental illness, I would have thought he snapped for being pulled over. Markeith deserves the death penalty, he has no remorse.

It’s so hard to grasp but Mr. B was suffering with other mental illness than just PTSD. It annoyed me how he was dancing around before killing the officer.

What happened to the dog ☹️

the worlds a crazy place m8s

coffee

Top quality content as always Jim! Keep up the good work!

What does this have to do with the tea of China other than the fact that John McCain is a Vietnam Vet? Stop posting your idiotic thoughts online.

Oh that last scene was very hard to watch.

What incredible storytelling. You never cease to amaze me.

Great episode

Thank you so much Jim, very informative as always with breaking down where we need to notice. Stay safe please!!

Thanks xo

This was WELL done with the message about the power of video!! Markeith Loyd looks like a Predator from the movies..Predator. I realize that we should have some compassion for Andrew Brannan but what he did was cold blooded murder. Disgusting. Do all vets with mental illness and PTSD go out and shoot cops when they don't like being pulled over. NO. HE got what he deserved.

Very good, as always x

To add to the benefit of video evidence, a big reason they gave him the death penalty was because when he took the last shot he screams "die fucker". Thats something they would not have known had there not been a recording. I love the way you set up this video, it was incredibly powerful. I've seen the video previously, but you still managed to humanize him a bit. Upon seeing the video at the end though, all that backstory and information didn't matter. Very powerful.

This one was definitely more haunting than the usual JCS content, but it's exactly the type of top quality analysis i pay for. I definitely won't forget this episode any time soon.

I love Jimmy McGill and Jimmy Can't Swimmy!!

Very enthralling!

Jim delivers once again

God I wish I could get a new one of these every day. Such quality content

Connor H

I remembered the dashcam footage the moment Jim started talking about the case and it still bothered me watching it as much as the first. Thanks Jim, stay safe!

Fucking genius.

Tia Benedict

God I've been waiting so long for a new video! Can't wait to watch!

Hey jim, can you do a video on Luka Magnotta? There’s a series on netflix about him but i think you would do an amazing job at covering the case!!

the nuances of this video have me really thinking about the state of the world, not to be that person. this video really shows how black and white the media can make a situation feel, with no room for nuance or objective perspective. very well done and provocative.

Chavonne Kruger

I'm almost certain I recognized that first homicide from memory. Specifically, the gun fight where the officer begs for his life but is gunned down by the PTSD stricken suspect. I also remember a quote somewhere, when someone asked why he killed the officer, his answer was "Because he let me." The video is pretty brutal because you are listening to an officer in the process of being shot up begging for his life and crying out in pain and fear. I may be wrong but I'll try and find the original video. Edit: Ah! I was right, that part is at the end of the video.

As usual, just brilliant, what a narrator you are and the way you break things down for us is also brilliant. Thank you JCS.

Holy shit, that gave me chills. Excellent use of music at the end. That cop/pregnant girlfriend killer was about the most despicable person I've ever seen.

M009876

America, where even the broken have guns. Good luck y’all.

as soon as I saw the pick up truck I kknew exactly what this was. I never forgot the sound of those screams

This was incredible. And as you said, that video really has stuck with me.

Thank you, Jim, for executing the request for Markeith Lloyd.

Erick Molina

Christ this one was different from your other videos but good lord it was good. I'd seen the video at the end before but never knew the context and you're 100% correct about forgetting what was said about it by the end. By the time the video started back and I saw the guy dancing at the traffic stop I started to squirm remembering exactly which video it is. Plus the montage at the end with the "I'd like to buy the world a Coke" song was pretty chilling.

Andrew Becker

This is AMAZING!!! Thank you for making another day in the apocalypse awesome 👏😎

What a fantastic video. Thanks for making lockdown a better place to be!

Nick Simon

Excellent video!

well done JCS team

This was fucking amazing..💯💪🎉

Tim Sheridan

This was great. I appreciate the full psychological perspective in this one. Honestly one of your best videos. Great song choice.

D BB

terrible comment

Jacob Meghnagi

Yeah, I didn’t love this one either. There’s a first time for everything. Really heartbreaking ending. I wish there was more about that case.

Sarah

wow!! so heavy so well put together. unlike my comment

Jacob Meghnagi

I really liked the music & the cop screaming was a nice touch.

So good! I hate when it ends because I know I have to wait again lol. You always make it worth the wait.

Ok boomer

Thank you so much. Been checking here every day for a new vid. Hope all is well!

YOU CANT HANDLE THE TRUTH

Can't believe they let him testify, considering they were pushing for 'insanity'.

John Doe so glad you're 1st comment was deleted....sociopath troll...if u feel that way then why are u torturing yourself on this site when practically every video results in justice triumphing over evil and law enforcement bringing criminals undone....Idiot!!!

I hope you’re joking, doe ass bitch

Caleb Coleman

That stupid coward cop got himself killed by trying to shoot the veteran in the back when he was reatreating..

Great work

Hopefully someone you know sees the hate and apparent pain you exude over the net. :(

Brilliant as always. Stay safe everyone x

This was extremely sad to watch. The Vietnam vet story was heartbreaking, the cop saw the guy was sick, that why he couldn’t shoot him.

LeeMariahRose

One of the best yet. Deeply thought-provoking.

I wish this doc was 2h long! thx!

Looks like Dinky picked the wrong one to pull over.

that was terrifying oh my GOD

Powerful. Great content! Please make more hidden perspective videos!

Holy fuck. The screams. It was pure animal fear and pain. I surely wont forget them soon enough

Bagelprince

This is quite possibly your best video to date! Absolutely fantastic delivery. Thank you so much Jim

I’m with you. I seriously need a hug after that. Great and effective content, Jim. Thank you.

Love the video Jim. The ending will stick with me, both because of the horror of hearing the officer and because that bit really drove home the point of the emotional impact that video evidence holds.

Wow Jim. Your best yet. The irony is terrifying. So glad to see you posting!!! More please in these weird times 💪

That scream is now tattooed to my mind. I can see how easily I forgot about that Vietnam’s vets entire existence as the police officers screams echoed through my soul. Very sad case. Stay safe Jim x

Spoken like someone with no understanding of history

Good video Jim. I was almost in tears at the end RIP to that cop just trying to do his job. Love from Virginia. Everyone say safe out there🙏🤙

The scream scares me, may he rest in peace.

Thank you Jim group for the video. looking forward to the next one

Brian McDaid

Thank you; love your work! More please...

Thank you Jim. Great editing work here

Thank you Jim! Keep it up mate, this content is great

Wow this was actually the first JCS video I found myself bored... was mainly during the Lloyd trail but I’ll always be a big fan no matter what

Google home app should let you screen cast to Chromecast. I think Vimeo app on Android does have the cast option, that's how I cast to my TV and had no problem.

Absolutely fantastic Content ! Be Safe JCS Team 💙

This is the kind of content we miss from you Jim . Thanks for your work.

Postsmart

man i'm sorry but that cop needed a bit more tactical training and situational awareness...

Spot on.

Postsmart

fuck that...he deserved it...100 percent!

You are absolutely right, however, I'm struggling with all the people that knew that he was a danger to himself and to society, I mean, it wasn't only one person, they were a lot of them and some were professionals in mental health, so I think that there ir some responsibility degree (not legally) but veterans should be guaranteed the most professional mental health care service there is, but even if we understand how extremely complex this could be, I don´t think this man was given the care that he needed since the beginning.

All wars have been manufactured for the financial gain of the world's power brokers. Those killed or maimed in these wars were (and are) considered to be collateral damage.

That was excellent Jim. We are not programmed to kill or to see people killed without it having an effect of some sort on our mental health.

Sonia Pitt

A lot of listeners have indicated that the officer's screams were difficult to process...for me it was the 2 faint gasps of breath and the silence that followed that were the confronting reality...mental health issues granted but the veteran still knew right from wrong and to take a life and ruin countless others over a speeding violation!!!...all his previous integrity and valor was lost in that moment 😒

What should he call it?

Maybe the best video Jim's ever made, It's depressing when you're gone for a month. I know the one guy killed 3 people but police officers shouldn't be able to just kick people in the face like that and nobody says anything.

You should probably retitle this vid.

Thx Jim. An you please post the Nova Scotia cop killer interview?

Worth the wait, Thank you Jim

What an insanely good video! Mighty thanks to the team!

Sally Violet

I am ok with the sentence of death for Vietnam vet. My brother in law is also a Bronze Star war hero, and I'm sure he went through a lot while overseas in Afghanistan. But you know what? He was able to come h ome, take care of his family, and he a huge success as a GM of a big Auto dealership. There are a lot of vets living with PTSD, but the vast majority don't end up murdering innocent people. He got what was coming to him.

The ending made me sob. My sister is a veteran and has struggled with PTSD and I also work with addicts who have lived through serious trauma and suffer from it. It can be so debilitating and can lead to terrible actions but we can’t forget what trauma can do to ones psyche. Rest In Peace to all victims mentioned in this video. Amazing as always Jim. Love from Minnesota. Stay safe all!

Jennifer Larson

I literally started shaking when hearing the cop screaming for his life. That was soul crushing

Grate video two cases in one with a strongly linked theme, best one yet. keep up the good work to all involved with the jcs channel

It was maddening to hear Markeith recite his rehearsed lines to defame his gf. It was so obvious.

check out JPEGMAFIA - I Just Killed A Cop Now I'm Horny. It relates to the tragic veteran story.

Very thought-provoking. Thanks Jim's team. Excellent as always.

This was sooo good. Really enjoyed how this one was edited. be safe jim love from boston

Amazing. Ending truly left me speachless and in awe

please dont vanish for another month

Legend! Thanks Jim

Neil Hessian

Best video!! It's a work of art. Thanks Jim!

yeah man that dude has lived a thousand lives

just wow. This is your best work yet! thanks jim

I spent a short amount of time as a federal agent and they show this stop as a warning to know when to pull your firearm and begin firing. As in don't wait, if you see a someone going for a gun you can fire right then.

quality over quantity

"I'm glad to be getting out of this place." Fuccccck

Tom Simmons

Great content as always! Thanks for the upload Jim! 🤞 for the next one to come soon!! COVID’s got me bored.

poison the world

Anyone know how I can cast these videos through chrome cast? I used to watch these no problem when JCS uploaded them to his ghost YouTube account but Vimeo is no bueno.

I imagine Jim doesn't censor footage and if he did I'm confident he would bring it up and tell us why.

My god this gave me goosebumps. Stellar content once again. That poor policeman. He was only a year older than my son, and to hear those primal screams... it tore into me. Andy. Well he lost his mind after losing everyone and having to witness the things he witnessed. We really need to come a lot further with mental health services. Especially for vets who are so deeply traumatised. Sad all around. Shocking to me that he got death over the other man though. At least with Andy there was a clear pattern of mental illness and clear trauma

Hopefully this loyd dude is dead or close to it.

That last part.... oh man, it made me queasy. How awful to actually see and especially hear.

You are the best, Jim

Was the censoring in the interrogation part on your end or the original video? If it was on your end I wish you wouldn't censor, this isn't youtube, it's vimeo on patreon.

Xirix

It isnt right, but its fair.

Oh well, never thought I’d find a fellow Balkaner on JCS

It’s sad to read comments from those who didn’t learn anything from the video.

Great content as always but the final part has massively disturbed me hearing the police officers screams :( be warned

I remember seeing that video of the killing of that deputy in a sherrifs citizens academy class I took a long while ago. Still just as horrifying as it was then.

Present!

Great video

This is one of the best videos you have ever made, i am incredibly impressed!

I discovered the original video of this encounter about a year ago. Not much gets to me anymore, I’ve seen ISIS videos, cartel executions, and lots more, but this one made me feel sick as I watched it. Very disturbing video and audio. On a side note, happy to see you posted, Jim. I missed you

The one thing i agree with our presidentia on is that John McCain is in no doubt roasting in Hell. Unfortunately for us his privileged cunt daughter is on tv everyday reminding us about how great of a guy he was instead of how he dropped poison and fire onto people as if the were ants.

Jordan Velasco

So glad you posted! Been missing your videos especially in this time of boredom lol.

How come he already had a long history of mental illness and could carry a rifle in his van? That is the question everyone should ask

Pretty amazing how the cops were able to make me feel sympathy for such a wretched person. They have that unique ability.

Thanks for the break from reality slim jim

Thanks JCS!

You were right about video content providing bias, and you illustrated that point very clearly with your examples. That Vietnam vet no doubt had gone through such mental deterioration and anguish. However, that cop’s screams and death gasp will haunt me. I can usually handle “sensitive content” pretty well, (blurry shootings, victim far away from the camera, etc) but hearing those screams and knowing that was the last experience that person had in his life really shook me hard. Makes me realize that most of the victims of the perpetrators in the videos you make, went through similar terrifying deaths. It just doesn’t strike me as hard because there isn’t usually video of it. Thanks for making me think, Jim.

The Treadwell video is not real.

The mental tug-of-war on this video is excruciating. Thank you JCS.

Melisa Matkin

My favourite notification. Thank you!

Another gripping video. Humans are chilling in their ways. Thank you for letting us see the various sides of them, keep safe.

This episode was so good. It's one of my favourites now. Thank you, Jim!

Thank you very much for yet another great video.

The video of the vietnam vet, murdering that poor rookie, is one of the most terrifying things on the web. Right up there with Timothy Treadwell´s deathscreams.

Whoever edited this, and the video that starts with the chaotic Florida scenes (Dalia D. maybe?) is just incredibly talented. The irony is so effective

srahhh

This video was brilliantly done. Definitely worth the wait Jim

Bruh you really know how to make a engaging video, to get the viewer hooked from the beginning. You really have a future in video editing from the improvements I see video after video you've released. Hell, you're already there if you ask me.

When you charge people, no matter how paltry the amount, for content that used to be free, theyre going to have higher expectations. And when thier expections aren't met, they're going to be less forgiving than before. I completely support JCS making money for the work they put out, but dealing with frustrated viewers who feel they aren't getting what they paid for, even if it's a single dollar a month, comes with the territory. It's up to JCS to temper those expectations. This isn't a donation at this point, it's a service.

This really is amazing content....who needs the true crime channel !

Damn I've seen that dashcam video before and aggravated me so much while not knowing the other side of the coin.

I never knew the backstory, I've only ever known he was a "Vietnam vet." But, I've seen that dash cam video a bunch of times. Thanks for shedding light on the entire story. Just sad all around...

Joseph Brzezinski

that video at the end was awful 😭😭

Thank you Jim. I have a friend who is a Vietnam Veteran; he is ok but bears those mental scars. I can’t imagine what those young men went through. Many of my friends are in Law Enforcement and tell me of the violence they see every day. What a world we live in! SMH.

ReSearcher

I think the deputy's screams will be sticking with me for some time.

The ending dashcam woke me the fuck up, and im about to go to bed

Thank you so much for the upload 🥰

Wow... The ending blew my mind.

Jim, I have been wondering how long I'd be in quarantine before I'd be blessed with more of your content. Thank you for making this time more enjoyable. Please be safe out there.

This was a reeeeeally tough one to watch. The beginning through to the end was just heart-wrenching! So much sad and unnecessary death. I’m shaken by the footage but grateful for the knowledge this channel provides. Wow.

Your birthday today too?

OMG. That was emotional. Great video Jim. You are the best!

Jim, I hope you and yours are doing ok.

Helga Bluestone

Jimmmmm!!! Oh Thank goodness! Needed something to watch.

Jim you're so good at what you do! I hope you are doing well.

Kate is Great

The end was so sad. His words seemed genuine.

Jason Longo

I don’t trust any man that refers to women as “females” 🙄

Amazing editing and structure one of the most quality programs yet!!

Lauren Spenla-Woodruff

Such interesting a topic. Very hard to watch

Lari

Well worth the wait... that ending .. wow.

Thanks for the backstory on Andy. I knew he was a veteran but didn't know to what extent. Great upload. Looking forward to the next one! Stay safe all.

It literally made me feel sick. I'm still shaken up. And just imagine the amount of this stuff the soldiers in vietnam witnessed...

Thanks again, Jim. Love you, bro. Man, that footage at the end really hit hard, and your explanation was absolutely fascinating.

only your vids can leave me so heartbroken yet satisfied! thanks a ton for new content!

Laurin Carter

Wow. Brilliant episode. Hard to watch tho.

Thanks J! Great content, as always!

greg

Those screams in the last dashcam footage was the hardest thing for me to watch ever from any of your content. Thank you for sharing these stories with us

Fantastic episode and worth the wait!! Thanks JCS team!!

Haven't even watched it, but many thanks.

Been feeling it in my bones again.. no doubt there’ll be a YouTube vid soon..

Thank you for the new content! Worth the wait !!

Hey Jim, another great episode best from Rodders and me...

That intro was disturbing as fuuuck!

I'd buy that for a dollar!

the helicopter footage cutting away as soon as they realised the cops on the group were beating the guy was disgusting. violent cops make me sick, no matter the situation, it never makes anything better and only weakens every case.

God bless you and thanks JCS. I detest the behavior of these cops that were led by emotion and at the same time have zero sympathy for that pos that killed three people.

Jimothy my day is made

Thanks Jim. It makes social distance a little easier. Keep up the excellent work.

Wow, i remember seeing this shocking video years ago! So interested in learning more about what happened...

Thanks, Daddy-O! I've been hoping for the last couple of days you would upload something to keep us intrigued during the lockdown. :)

YES!!!!!!!!!!

I love you Jim!

Thank you man

Oh I have been waiting!!!!!!!! Thank you:)

Jim, you're the best! I was just thinking how I could really go for some JCS content. Thank you!

I was watching your previous post and not even 2 min after it ended, I got a notification for this one.. mmm nice :)

Yassss thanks Jim! Its a great day now 🖤

Quarantine version!

The "stand your ground" excuse is a cop out, that's not even close to what "no duty to retreat" means with respect to self defense laws. The DA was clearly just saying "it obviously happened but we're not going to do anything about it."

btw that officer didn't look 22 years old

Just wanted to say that I really love you guys and thanks for continuing to put out this awesome content. You're literally my favourite channel and I'm always telling anyone who will listen about it x

Awesome!

THANK YOU!! I am so grateful for all your content, nothing compares

it IS my birthday!!!

Thanks daddy!!! Don’t work too hard on getting the second video uploaded today !

You uploaded this one day before my birthday, AWESOME 🌞

Just last night was saying how you're the only Patreon I support and couldn't wait til your next upload and lo and behold! Keep up the great work and stay safe. BTW, would love you to do Casey Anthony.

Noice

YASSSSSSSS I AM LIVING!

So excited to see you posting!! I love your content

We love you so much Jim!!! I hope that you and your family and loved ones are staying healthy and safe! Your content is truly incredible and I believe I speak for a large majority of your fanbase when I say there are VERY few things in this world that get me as excited as when I get a notification that you posted a new video. Thank you so much for this. Cant wait for the next one. Have a great week!

Finally!

Yesssss! Going to be watching this tonight, thanks Jim. You the man!

Thanks for another great one, Jim. Stay safe during all of this

Blake Jordan

Let's gooooooo

ZapTRunsIsh .

Broooo thank you, watching this after work

A tribute to quality. Cable TV and even streaming services are 15 times the cost per month and some of the garbo that comes from there is astounding. That amount for Jim tells me he's doing something correct. ;)

Finally

I was close to unsubscribing. Its only a dollar but the fact that this guy is making $37,000 a MONTH just to make a 60 minute video kind of makes me sick to my stomach. Like jesus...

Whoop whoop!!! Dropping everything I’m doing to watch this.

Yay!!!!

So strange, I was thinking about JCS channel like 1 hour ago hoping that he would add some new content. 🤷‍♂️😄😄 Yes!

Thank you!
