The Case of Chris Garnier

Comments

This case happened in my neighbourhood. Sadly, the bar is now associted with another crime, as a bouncer murdered a patron.

What the heck was his real motive? I’m dying to know

John Altwies

“The Ego-Down approach is essentially the opposite of the Ego-Up approach” you don’t say.

What's the current password for this video? EDIT: Never mind, I must've misstyped it.

This is one of the most frustrating videos to watch. Him just sitting there in silence like a little kid being scolded - UGH. like 30 of the 40 minutes in this video was just silence.

I’m just happy to have found more videos by jcs. I’ve watched the Ones on YouTube over and over.

Watching JCS means that now I'm scared for every single women I know at all times.

I took 2 minutes afterwards to put on a timer and do nothing to simulate the judge's effect. It really hits you towards the end just how long 2 minutes is when all you're thinking about is strangulation.

I give so much credit to detectives. I’d be so irritated “what the hell do you mean you don’t know just answer the damn question”

I was thinking the same thing! For all we know she might have a fetish, and really wanted his hands around her neck..

Anyone else weirded out that the female detective is hanging onto his hand? I know it's likely a tactic but it's weird for how long she did it.

I wanna know what really happened.

I can't stand watching this guy cry. It's not like a murderer can convince me he is so gentle hearted that he will break into tears

chris is such a bad criminal holy fuck

2melty

The sniffles are the most annoying part for sure.

Those fucking sniffles

She did a good job, I would have been so uncomfortable.

About Chris Garnier- holy shit do I feel bad for the detective that had to sit and hold this absolute degenerates hand and pat him on the back and stuff. We didn't even hear her talk (edit- for the first half of the video), but I can't imagine doing that for almost the whole interrogation

is the comment section glitched? nobody is talking about the right video

She wasn't killed in the line of duty. Can you explain why a victim's occupation unrelated to the crime should carry more or less sentence for the murderer?

Constrictor

Motive wasn't really talked about, his girlfriend recently left him and he was stressed I guess is the best we have according to this video anyway.

Joel Dellavalle

chance to get out after 13 years for killing a cop? tf should be life with no chance of getting out imo

Joel Dellavalle

I am still really confused. Can someone please tell me the motive for this murder? I couldn't even find a motive online, why did he kill her?

Why did Chris Garnier commit the murder? I’m so confused, I can’t find any motive online

Min 13 years sentence, possibility of parole after 13 years, but unlikely.

Agreed but I'm pretty sure it's to help get him to a place psychologically where he's more comfortable and open to spill the beans and incriminate himself, which he did.

He got life w/o possibility of parol

Love it so much!

Ada King

13 years!!!! That’s it??? He choked his partner TO ACTUAL DEATH. The poignancy of the 2 min of silence demonstration is brilliant, I think.

Ada King

*SNIFF*

The female detective who had to hold Chris' hands and reassuringly coddle them made me very uncomfortable.

jane

That's gotta feel weird! I hope this is the one and only time you recognize someone in a JCS video :)

This officer was from my home town. It is surreal to see JSC cover a case so close to home.

Use headphones it worked great

Nautica Marie

they play just fine for me on both my computer and phone

I really wanted to watch this but the interrogation footage has such a loud buzz lmao! Cops are out here using potato cameras

Its been a week and this video isn't playing, as well as some others.... I love JCS and happy to support him but this platform is the biggest piece of shit platform I ever saw.... The way the videos are cataloged is trash and half of them wont even play its a shame.

I like the narration in this video. It makes it easy to place yourself in the role of the interrogator, with all the prep they have before the interrogation, as opposed to less narration and feeling less involved. Very well done.

ideally go get some help and don't commit a murder anywhere

this guy is actually the dumbest person ever

Again, if you want commit murder GO TO CANADA! This guy should be on death row.

The fellow hardly has time to explain summary and indictable offences. But I squirmed too nw.

You mentioned after he told him she was dead before she went into the compost bin that he just admitted a feloney. We don't have fellonies in Canada

Jacob Salmonds

Reminds me of the cop that shot an unarmed black man then asked for compensation from the victims family due to PTSD, he asked for something in the range of 500k-1m.

I cant believe they bring up the PTSD brought on by him murdering someone!! he didn't witness something and then act out. He did this and is claiming to be a partial victim due to PTSD after the fact/

okay peter mackay

Sorry, but without a second amendment we wouldn’t be living in the country we have now. Many laws would’ve been changed and it would be far more oppressive. What you call an “assault rifle” has NEVER been used on any battlefield by any military. In fact many handguns have been and are used on many battlefields. Many pro 2A people do not support the NRA because they do not care about 2A. They just care about money. BTW, in the USA you cannot buy a military machine gun made after 1986. In Switzerland a Swiss citizen can walk into a gun store and walkout with a brand new machine gun made just days before. Many of the last few shootings have proven that LE agencies failed or refused to take action when notified of bizarre threatening behavior. In FLA a few cowardly cops even refused to confront the shooter. It took another off duty cop to disregard their cowardly directives to be the first one in that HS.

Holy fuck his crying is ridiculous!

Well in my view, if the guy really wants death. then not giving it to him is a greater punishment.

Im not a gun owner and no one in my family ever has been, not an extensive hunting scene in my particular area of New Jersey, so I may be speaking out of class here. While I don't necessarily believe guns should be completely eradicated, it eludes me why any military grade, high caliber, automatic weapons are available for purchase, as well as the seemingly effortless accessibility of any firearm in some states.

The true insanity is making it legal for people who want to commit mass murder (and there’s proven to be plenty) to be able to walk into a store and buy an assault rifle No 1st world country except the US is so tragically negligent to their citizens.

Yeah it's so weird. Doesn't seem like it would be difficult for someone like that to get insanity plea.

Wojciech Tolsdorf

So Dawson doesn't know the difference between pretending to be insane and pretending to be mentally retarded.

Wojciech Tolsdorf

Please don’t. He don’t need more crazy.

Caleb Coleman

Jesus this overwhelming

Read some quran to him

"Your demon wants an attorney?" How profound.

“Well your demon wants an attorney so I’m done talking to you”

are you kidding me? we cant even get a death sentence when the guy says he wants it?!

"You will all know who my name is." great ending. the only name I want to remember from this video is Gerrero Sanchez.

Helena

The way he pronounced Manteca had me in tears.

Panic

The slenderman stuff was incredibly difficult to listen to. :(

I liked vimeo, but now this patreon video service doesn't work with firefox! No one is happy :(

Jenny Mirsky

I really wish he would use something other than vimeo 😭it never works on my laptop

jjjj

Had me rolling lol

dawsons a huge Edward Norton fan. a la The Score and Primal fear

02:29 “The last things she said was me” I could interpret that as the last thing she said was her name 👀👀

I love this guy. "Why didn't u get rid of the demon by smokin a blunt?" Classic!

"you can't catch a bird homes" 😂😂

30:15 WOAH. Holy shit.. he looks.. completely different.

Nicole Kessinger was thoroughly Godless, void of empathy. She was breaking up the marriage. She had 0 compunction about it. Much less, she showed total callousness about it - talking about thing she would like to do for the children. The children were going to suffer the most through all this. How many other affairs did she have, suspicious there are several/many.

I was feeling bad about solitary confinement on death row because of a previous video- I don't feel that way so much anymore

Christie DeSapio

This kid is a psychopath and an asshole

Christie DeSapio

At first, the shooter says he hears only bad voices, never good. Then he said two voices, good and bad. Then back to only bad. So yeah, hes lying.

Ryan Seitz

"People that trust you become very gullible. And its sad." Holy hell, that is HAUNTING coming from a child....

Ryan Seitz

Watching this on 2/14 2020. Realizing this was just two years ago is chilling. And RaindanceSam, not all of us Marines are dumb, we just like the taste of crayons.

The policeman destroyed that kid who shot up the school.

Yeah he really should've gone easy on the poor defenseless kid that gunned down 17 people with a semi automatic.

"Why don't you like me, i gave you water dude..."

Robert

I was having issues playing videos through my web browser but I downloaded the app and it works fine on there.

Lesley Baxter

I just tried it and it seems to work. Try again maybe?

Video been taken down??

I mean if he failed the asvab he kinda is stupid lol should've tried the marines lol

the only truth in that statement applies to the fakers

Is anyone struggling with , opening or even clicking on this and other videos or just me having that precious luck?

Lemme roast your demon game real quick.

Bradley Freeman

Nikolas: "I'll get a taxi" Demon: "No.... uber"

His confession video saying when he plans to do it, he seems fine. l wonder if the demon told him to get the Uber haha

l love the Detective interviewing Nikolas Cruz he made me laugh. He knew he was making it all up about the demon.

i truly thought this person was insane until I saw this. I'm not entirely sure you realize how important your videos are at this point in history. Thank you.

Detective to Nikolas Cruz: "You want an attorney? Did the demon just tell you to get an attorney? Does the demon know what attorney? Any name in particular?" 🤣

That last interrogator absolutely rekt Nicolas Cruz 🤣

18:25 that zit..... i just wanna pop it

I think that one is unknown because his psychological assessment was never completed before he decided to just abort the whole process and plead guilty against his legal advice, so we'll never know if he was a paranoid schizophrenic or not. I personally think it's quite plausible he was a very high functioning schizophrenic before he started driving for Uber, and then had a complete mental crisis, but we won't know unless there is some follow-up on his treatment in prison.

Another good example of fabricated insanity would be the Uber driver shooter in Kalamazoo MI. He was declared fit for trial and later plead guilty after numerous strange outbursts of gibberish in the courtroom.

I’m wondering the same.

Parts 2+?? Or am I missing something?

Empathy to animals has to be taught to your children when they're young and don't know anything else. Wait too long and your kid will start figuring out for themselves what to do with animals, good or bad.

Jack Hazardous

Cringe, the Slenderman Proxy wannabees are so fucking cringe trying to be all creepy and shit. Welp, keep dem bitches in jail, I wonder what will come out in the end. I have not sympathy for them for being so stupid, especially because I too used to be into Creepypasta and the Creepypasta Wiki, and used to be scared of Slenderman when I was younger, and then we get dumb hoes like these two.

The common denominator that stitches together so many serial killers and murderers is animal cruelty. That law enforcement and the justice system address these crimes, if ever, with nothing more than a slap on the wrist is criminal. So much suffering could be avoided IF cruelty and the murder of non-human animals are addressed in a serious manner.

This is quite interesting. In the last part, he also tries to argue and reassure that the daemon is really there. So, this this reassuring can indicated a lie?

I think you have showed way too much of the interviews with too little explanation. I would like to hear more narrative

It's amazing the most incompetent Sheriff's department in Florida has a guy like him on the payroll. LOL.

This guy in Houston named Ronald Lee Haskell also tried this ploy. The first guy sounds like he's trying to act like Raymond in the movie Rain Man -- so funny.

Dawson, STRAIGHT out of Primal Fear. Exactly...

Thank you very much for clarifying between borderline and antisocial. As a person who previously had a borderline diagnosis I very much appreciate your effort to clarify the difference.

100%

Andrew

Cruz was saying the same thing as the demon from "The Exorcist".

Erick Molina

You need to put some subs in these videos man

(((LOL))) That last detective is the real demon!

love the detective who's doing Cruz, straight calling out his bs

the demon wants an attorney.. lol this detective is boss

I got second hand embarrassment watching Cruz feign insanity.

He addresses that. He meant ASPD not BPD

Yeah he addresses that mistake

I literally cannot belive that these videos are not monetized in YouTube. It's ridiculous that some of the shit in YT right now, shows material way more problematic than this well-thought, informative and entertaining material. #JimShouldSwimInYT

53:00 “you’re making $1200 dollars a week why didn’t you just smoke it everyday if it made the demons go away” “it’s illegal” “IT’S ILLEGAL?!” You know he wanted to say “ yeah so is fucking killing 17 people bud “ wtf kind of moral compass is that

Tyler Lavoie

“Come on man I get worse cuts than that reaching in my flower bed, you weren’t trying to hurt yourself” straight called him out lmao

Tyler Lavoie

is cruz in a maga hat? jfc

Jim, I appreciate your work and your commitment. Great job

Did you still feel this way by the end of the interrogation? Tbh, I had the opposite reaction to you. I think this guy was perfect for the job. He came across as just a dad trying to understand why his kid did a stupid thing. He'd ask questions to get Cruz to reason things out himself (and consequently hang himself because the only true thing he said was that he was stupid) and didn't accuse him of anything until the shtick about the voice got repetitive. He did great, imo, but its interesting to see other people's impressions. Cheers!

yeah, it was pretty amazing. i wish we were able to hear the police comments while leaving the room.

Am I the only one who thinks literally ANYBODY else should’ve interviewed Cruz?? I’m only a few minutes in, I admit, but the way he keeps saying “you NEED to do this”, “you’ve GOTTA do that”, asserting different minuscule and irrelevant things, all coupled with his intimidating physical posturing/stature... just his entire presence, comes across to me as overpowering and authoritarian- even when he’s trying to be friendly- and seems to me like it could’ve been a huge gamble in this particular scenario. I’m wondering if a woman would’ve been a better bet with a young boy who, if I’m not mistaken, had just lost his mother? But maybe they had the kid in custody for quite a while at this point, and had experts beyond what I’ll ever comprehend feel him up and decide this guy was a professional just right for this kid’s interrogation in a million and one nuanced ways... who knows? Oh well, I can only keep watching, and it’s a moot point now anyway, I guess. I just couldn’t help noticing that even I’M sitting here completely innocent and a million times removed from the situation, yet having an immediate adverse reaction to that detective/agent. It feels challenging and disrespectful, almost, and I’d be on the defensive for sure (I’m not arguing this kid “deserves” respect, before anyone comes at me over that). If that was someone who didn’t want to talk no matter what, or someone who shut down or had issues with authority figures or being talked down to, I feel like they definitely wouldn’t be talking. If the purpose is to build a rapport and gain trust, I don’t know man. But this is all just my opinions and observations, obviously. I’d be curious to hear some respectful and well thought-out counter opinions

Elena

OMG dude doing a literal horrible Rain Man impression but still asking for an attorney. Good Grief.

The detective going after Cruz should be fired. I don't buy the insanity either, but the way that guy approached the interrogation was completely unprofessional and manipulative. The macho attitude that these guys carry around is the biggest problem when interrogating criminals. They're too short-sighted and overcome by their own assumptions and emotions to make any kind of objective decision.

This detective deserves a medal. This guy is full of BS.

Brevity is the essence of wit

Morgan is an example of someone who has severe mental illness. She is highly intelligent and I think that perhaps people thought that her peculiar behavior could be due to an undiagnosed autism spectrum disorder. She was forthright in explaining the details of the attempted murder and yet later became incredibly emotional about the idea that her friend, Bella whom she had stabbed was hurt. She was diagnosed with child onset schizophrenia and has/had (not sure where she is at on her treatment at I have not checked on her case in awhile) hallucinations. She truly did not seem to know what was real or not real. This does not excuse what she did at all. Her father also has schizophrenia. It is a tragedy that her illness went undetected and that her mental illness influenced her friend. I cannot imagine the guilt and regret that both Morgan's parents and Morgan herself feel as they all loved Bella. Comprehensive and accessible mental health treatment is incredibly important. If she had been screened for mental health issues at her pediatrician this might have been caught. So no, not a sociopath just an incredibly mentally ill girl in a psychotic episode and a set of incredibly unfortunate events. While I feel empathy for Morgan and her family my heart breaks for Payton/Bella and her family. Payton/Bella is a true warrior, dragging her body to the bike trail and having the fortune to be noticed in time to receive medical help. I hope that she can heal from those emotional and physical wounds and have the very best idea possible. All that being said If you have mentally ill people in your life medication compliance is paramount to being able to live as normal of a life as possible. Please encourage those you know and love to stay on their damn meds and continue to see their care team.

Morgan is a bona fide sociopath; how can it be that her parents didn't notice that?! And Dawson, you moron - if you really were such a nutcase as you wanted the cops to believe, you most likely wouldn't have gotten a driver's licence *facepalm*

Manuela Bender

This is all a product of far too much T.V and or Hollywood.

Chasity Walraven

Baa ha ha ha Lionel Hutz.

Jim Night

So the Slender Man girl was facing 5-15 years in prison, but thanks her insanity plea she got 40 years in a mental hospital? Was her lawyer Lionel Hutz?

I would also totally love to see that!

Hi Jim sorry to be annoying but could you check your inbox. I sent a message regarding some really good unseen interrogations that I would love to hsnd over to you. If you are interested please contact me and rhe are yours. If you'd like to look into it first Google Attorney Frank Carson Modesto California. Thank you for your time and all that you do.

That Cruz kid was so obviously fuckong taking it omg.

I think the part where he goes "my eyes my eyes" and acts erratic was his slick attempt at looking around the room for cameras. Look at the way his eyes were wondering in a very specific manner like he's looking for something.

That homicide detective sounds just like The Dude/Jeff Bridges from The Big Lebowski.

0:

57:47 "Well your demon wants an attorney" lmao. Dude was roasting him the entire interrogation

My favorite line “ did Ian beat up you or the demon” 😂😂😂

Yeah I thought he did an amazing job, the fact that people thought the complete opposite goes to show that they are mistaking logic for over compassion.

he was very understanding and accepting of the demon's rights to seek legal council

TOADLINERICO

Please do a video on dissecting and analyzing Paul Bernardo's interview

This detective is fantastic. I would mistake him for a psychiatrist.

I love Cruz's interrogator SO MUCH.

The power of pot compels you

You are correct, ASPD was misread as BPD, and this is addressed in the description of the video. Sorry about that x

I'm a bit distraught about you calling BPD psychopathy. I have BPD and it has nothing to do with being a psychopath. I urge you to read a bit about it. It ain't fun being called a psychopath :/

Favorite line, "If you're making $1200 a week why didn't you smoke marijuana every day to get rid of the demon?"

When my brother died ans I was there to identify the body the cop asked for my address. I couldnt remember for anything and it totally freaked me out. Could he have genuinely been unable to remember?

Colorado seems to be popular too.

Shout out to Wisconsin, home of every absolute nut ever.

Emily Schoening

the officer said it too, so I guess it's the regional dialect.

Daniel Quaid

For someone who is clearly trying very hard to prove to everyone else that he's intelligent, he sure does say 'we was" a lot.

Bong Jovi

Doctor. :::nods head:::

He's seen Primal Fear one too many times.

I get it. I, also, found it actually refreshing that he so readily confessed. It does not, however, detract from the sympathy I have for his victim and his family. You were clear about that, as well. You do not see that type of responsibility taken, or that level of candor, by criminals. Though it's little comfort to his victim's family and friends, his willingness to confess spared them a trial during which they'd have to watch a monster attempt to deny respectability. I'm big on accountability, so I can't help but to appreciate that he took some measure of it.

I'm curious to know how you feel about capital punishment. Do you feel justice was served? Has it helped you come to terms and manage? I'm not against capital punishment, but I don't think I've ever had the chance to ask anyone who has real experience with it.

"Damnit, Jim."-in my best impression of Bones from Star Trek. This one hit home. In fact, I couldn't focus, and even thought I saw a pic of the killer occupying my thoughts (very unlikely). This was another fantastic price of work. That much I was focused enough to certainly say. The POS who killed my brother, as well as two other good men, attempted an insanity plea and failed. He claimed he was Jesus. It did not work. The only time he benefited from this ridiculous claim, was when his execution was stayed twice. Thankfully, it was not stayed a third.

The first chick would freak me out if I had to sit in a interview room with her lol I wonder if the detective was creeped out?

i agree, with the inside voices it would be more likely multiple personality disorder but i haven't researched how thorough his mental evaluation went or if he himself is even aware of that

Excellent video. The homeboy at the twenty-two minute mark was truly unsettling. Whenever I watch any interrogation content, I sometimes wish the subject would be more forthright, but the other extreme is much, much more unsettling.

The little piece of shit called Nicholas is a very bad actor. Hyperventilation and claiming to have a bad memory combine with demons isn't a mental illness . The mental health organisations takes the bait every time, and seems to look after psych diagnoses to be able to excuse evil behaviors. Sing Kumba ya ya, kumba ya, rehabilitate him and let him out after six months....😡🤬😡 And I actually has some experience, I am bi-polar myself, and I hate malingering criminals. AND, the little idiot said that he hears voice IN HIS HEAD, schizophrenic people hears voices outside their heads, just like ordinary people talks. MAJOR FAIL pretending to be crazy....🤪😜😡🤬

I guess I’m thinking about it after the fact how most of these animals will still fabricate what actually happened to and from my lesson how bad it looks. I’m trying to understand if there is still shame in it or if it’s just the shame in being caught. You all ready going to spend the rest of your life locked up like the monster you are so why not say exactly what happen and what you where thinking so that someone can possibly prevent it someday. I understand that respect isn’t the correct feeling and maybe it’s just I was so shocked by how clear he was that it’s easier to believe he has to be crazy. I guess I really just don’t believe that he’s some how insane because he’s cold and calculated.

I completely agree. There is nothing good about him and he is subhuman but what makes that crazy? He clearly knew what he did was wrong and what he was doing was wrong looking for someone he felt wouldn’t be missed. He still want through with it. I guess for me it’s the psychological side that I’m more interested in understanding why he is considered crazy for being so truthful. I feel like I’m just as confused as the officer

Yeah, it's odd to me that anybody would or could find anything at all to respect about or empathize with in regards to that unrepentant and psychopathic neckbeard. He outright admits that he did it basically on a whim just because he felt like it and that the victim had done nothing to him to provoke him. I'm a pretty liberal guy who is against capital punishment and tries to see the best in everybody as often as I can, but that guy is a textbook definition of a subhuman piece of shit, IMO.

The guy in the suite I can’t help but respect in some way. I often wish other criminals who are caught red-handed would be willing to speak so candidly like you had the balls to act like a monster but you don’t have the balls to honestly say what you were thinking while you were doing please monsters act. It’s funny they that he must be crazy for having ability be honest and candid about what he did. Is it odd that he triggered empathy from me or the feeling of respect for being so honest? I’m also blow away by the amount of weight he has lost!!! He looks worse the he did when he confessed!!

Girls from the Manson family.

Laura Young

Who are all the people in the beginning of this video?

Siobhan Blue

Oh mental health organizations huh? they thought interrogation of Cruz was little too “intense”. Or was it, the cop being mean to you. 😭😭 idiots but I will admit I’m not sure what day this interview took place but if it was the day of the shooting or the next day would be horrible that’s a lot of trauma Cruz and with everyone else I do love how close he’s sittings to Cruz. Detective might as well had sit on his lap lol

man... after all these years on youtube, Jim Can't Swim is undoubtly the best content I have ever watched.

The original video on Youtube ends around 31:00. I believe that the next part hasn't been released yet.

The videos the kid recorded at the end looks like he's trying to be like Elliot Rogers.

Do someone know where to see the part 2 and 3 of this video??? I subscribe to see that

part 2 comes out today

It’s mad how Nic sat there and said he didn’t smoke weed because it was illegal after what he had just done.

Borderline Personality Disorder, otherwise known as psychopathy... Great stuff, Jim, but isn't that a bit misleading? They are not one and the same. Someone with BPD may well be a psychopath, but it's not like their definitions are the same. Rather, psychopathy may be one of the symptoms of BPD. ASPD may have made more sense there. Even still, they are not equivalent. Still, great stuff.

Literally forgot the kid's name by the end of the video.

“d-d-d-d-am I supposed to have an attorney” yes because someone with a severe mental illness would have that kind of awareness and foresight, hilarious.

Saint Vayu

I often wonder why humans do the scary things we do. Sometimes I think it may be the frequencies disrupting our "normal" cognizant experiences. Maybe MKUltra is still in effect, with the help of HAARP and DARPA. Sorry, my tinfoil hat is being redone, a fedora this time I think.

The American "justice" system is bizarre and very punitive in nature. The fact that someone who commits a crime while experiencing a psychotic break is deemed sane or fully responsible for their actions at the time is ridiculous.

Please include Andrea Yates case in a future video as well as clips from Dr. Park Dietz who went over her case

Great film!

This was amazing, awesome quality, made my patreon account so i can follow you here and it was not a mistake.

I like the way the interrogator refers to the "demon" lol.

<a href="https://clinmedjournals.org/articles/cmrcr/clinical-medical-reviews-and-case-reports-cmrcr-5-227.php?jid=cmrcr" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://clinmedjournals.org/articles/cmrcr/clinical-medical-reviews-and-case-reports-cmrcr-5-227.php?jid=cmrcr</a> It doesnt help that secondary psychopathy (Factor 2 often referred to as sociopathy) is referred to as "JUST" psychopathy which happens a lot unfortunately. There is also Dr. Todd Grande on youtube that explains the difference between primary F1 and secondary F2 psychopathy pretty well. -Post by Peat Z.

You should do a video on the falsely accused to show how people should react to interragations and what not.

"You're all brainwashed by the political government"

The Narrator is Kizzume Fowler. He is also on youtube. Kizzume introduced himself at the end of "The Truth about Narcissism"-video.

It's someone else.

Jim, are you the voice of the narrator, or is that someone else? Out of interest.....

I was super surprised and tbh a little disappointed that she wasn't included in this but I'm holding out hope that he's going to do some kind of 'episode' on mothers who kill their children. It's probably wishful thinking but who knows!

I also thought that was a weird remark. I don't really think he was insane in the sense that he didn't understand his actions or the consequences, he was just evil and didn't understand why.

I think prosecution of the woods killer missed a trick when he said he killed because "I wanted to test my resolve". That demonstrates both awareness it is wrong, the disregarding of an impulse for restraint, and a desire to kill. Also, if he is insane then any killer can simply cofess deadpan, claim no remorse or motive and escape penitentiary, its nonsense.

Those videos at the end Cruz made say everything that needs to be said. I've no doubt he was "disturbed," in a way any kid with a rocky home life and lots of alone time is. However, it's obvious he lost his minute amount of confidence in these actions after the shooting and attempted to hide behind excuses to appear less culpable. I bet he went into this with the intention of appearing like the man in the suit did earlier in your video. Calm, collected, all on the chin. All in all their motives were probably the same he just wasn't "mature," enough to admit it.

1:01:25 I know this is a serious topic but this has to be the least intimidating thing I've ever seen. Nick, are we supposed to take those pew pew sounds seriously and not immediately laugh aloud? I don't think they'd cast someone like him as a Bond villain that's for sure. I hope any future troubled teen idolizing nick cruz comes across this video and reconsiders being associated with someone they themselves would not take seriously. I'm almost glad that he (along with Randy Stair and his Danny Phantom girl ghost punk band/MLP obsession &amp; Eliot Rodger's pathetic video) unintentionally tarnishes any sort of 'legacy' that may exist among his peers of fellow potential school shooters by objectively displaying how utter ridiculous their reasoning and social inaptitudes really are. This is an oversimplification but most mass shooters want to get back at society for not being paid enough 'attention' and want to finally be taken seriously with their final action. It's a great thing when videos like this can be used (and viewed by any person considering a school shooting) to illustrate that we, while not condoning their behavior, will continue to not take them seriously, attribute any importance to their held beliefs, or attribute any sort of 'social status' to an anti-social school shooter who performs such a heinous crime. I am in no way disregarding mental illness here, I'm just stating the opinion that increasing the negative connotations associated with being a school shooter among as many demographic/social groups as possible for the purpose of curating social norms isn't a bad thing, thats all

That last detective's conduct appeared more blunt and straight-forward than inhumane, at least to me. Is that what people didn't like?

Is this going to be uploaded to youtube?

While BPD traits are often strongly associated with psychopathy, the two are oftentimes not in congruence. Most people with BPD are not psychopaths, but essentially all psychopaths can be said to demonstrate a significant degree of BPD.

I love love love your videos, but I feel obligated to point out that borderline personality disorder is not the same as psychopathy. BPD is an emotional regulation disorder.

The Andrea Yates case was a really sad and interesting case, and a perfect example of how it's hard to argue the insanity defence, as she was clearly not with us when she did what she did, and was still convicted. Shame there wasn't more footage released of the interrogation

Hi Jim, you should do a vid on daniel wozniak. That guy makes my skin crawl

is there gonna be a part 4 for the chris watts case?

Hey Jim, when is Chris Watts next episode coming? Love your work by the way!

I just found your youtube page yesterday and had watched all the videos on there and once those were over found this page where I became a member..Its just about 24hrs and I have now scene all the videos on these two platforms of yours! I really hope new ones are posted soon! You do amazing work(:

I had to fast forward through homeboy in the suit. It was physically nauseating to listen to his matter-of-factness about everything. I'm usually against life sentences because I believe prison should be about rehabilitation as opposed to punishment but holy shit. If ever anyone ever needed to be under constant psychological supervision for an indefinite period of time it's that guy.

If you are in an interview room with a cop, the plan probably wasn't perfect, "actually"

awesome video jim, a dollar well spent. looking forward to the next one!

Correct. ASPD was misread as BPD, the narrator had just covered a section before on BPD (which will be its own video) hence the mix up

Darlie didn't invite the media to record the gathering at her sons grave. The police illegally filmed her as she and her family celebrated what would have been her sons birthday, and the police released only the part with the silly string to the media.

Jim, Borderline Personality Disorder and Psychopathy are not to equate like this. You are giving people a dangerous misconception of what BPD is with potential to hurt people that are afflicted with it. They are very diffenrent disorders. That is an important distinction. BPD and psychopathy (a severe variant of Anti-Social-Personality Disorder) are only similar in terms of extreme impulsivity which I guess is not the point you're trying to make (29:36). Rather the callous disregard, lack of remorse and no personal gain (only possibility for psychopath would be excruciating boredom) only present in this form in ASPD.

Welp, he did say he believes he deserves the death sentence - "an eye for an eye, sir" I am actually glad they recognized he's some kind of psychopath. He clearly understood something about him wasn't quite right too - I think that's why he opted to confess.

That was sure worth a Buck, Wasn’t it ?!!! lol More ! More ! More !

Dawson &amp; Cruz In the old USSR both of them would have been executed by a bullet to the back of their heads before they left the interrogation room ! (They got a few things right ) Can you imagine the sheer terror of the students &amp; faculty &amp; the horror of one of the victims family or loved ones watching these monsters put on there acts ! That detective with Cruz deserves a Medal not harassment ! 10 hours with that idiot No way. What patience OMG ! Great job God Bless them &amp; all the families Did he get sentenced yet ? I believe the Death Sentance should only be used in particularly heinous crimes &amp; he deserves to die. Best Video Jim has done 👍👍👍

That Murray dude ( the random shooter) is clearly nuts 🙀He put a hell of a lot more thought into the suit he was wearing then his cold blooded murder.Which I find is rather odd to begin with. When asked if he did drugs ? He emphatically said no,to bad because he clearly needed to be medicated &amp; under a doctors care Any chance you think he wants the death sentence ? Yes SIR 🙀🙀

The boy at the end was creepy af, but he was lying his ass off about the voices. I have depression with anxiety, which is what he was trying to sell, and I was raising my eyebrow to each of his 'attacks'. Edit: I love the part where the detective tells him his cuts are chicken scratches! I have a strong doubt that boy can take physical pain, much less anything he does to himself.

When is the next watts video?

There are a ton.

Belphagor 🤘

Except for not knowing the difference between a clip and a magazine 😉

Sorry, Which series of behaviors are you referring to- like her sons birthday events? Thats an interesting take on it. You know what I always wonder about though?? I always wonder if you have to be insane simply to do some of the sh*t these people do. Like killing your own kids (or any kid), would you not have to be insane? Not that it's any kind of justification at all. I work with a small child who has Cerebral Palsy and Autism and if anything happened to her I would die.

Long hair suit man is so well spoken!

That's an interesting point Tiffany, but I saw those series of behaviors as a bastardized version of her subconscious, projected guilt.

I have to wonder if Darlie Routier was insane. The woman sprayed silly string at her sons grave 8 days after his murder while laughing (she also invited local news to record it). It's actually astonishing to watch. Reminds me of Diane Downs.

Great work Gym.

Yos! Thanks Jimmy boyyy

This reminds me of a case written about in Jon Ronson's "The Psychopath Test" - where a man tried to get himself put into a mental health facility as he thought conditions would be better than that of a max security jail. They didn't buy the act, but reasoned that someone who would kill and then fake an illness just to get a TV and a playstation was indeed mentally ill, and he was given a whole life sentence in a psychiatric prison. At which point any protests by him that "I'm faking it" or "I'm not really mentally ill" would only concrete their original diagnosis. Scary shit.

Fascinating!

Does anyone know if there is a way to cast patreon videos to your smart TV? We love watching Jim's YouTube videos by casting them to the big screen!

Cheers team :)

This is a YouTube link, it's just an "unlisted" one meaning only those who have the link (Patrons) can see it. Perhaps it's the particular notification you're tapping on that's blocking it? Try accessing the post in a different way. (Example, I'm watching this in a window within gmail, because that's the notification I tapped on) Edit: <a href="https://youtu.be/a7wSeqDf5HA" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://youtu.be/a7wSeqDf5HA</a>

Yeah it was misread. That's supposed to be "antisocial personality disorder". We had a guy with BPD in this but it's too long so he's getting his own video.

JD, i hear what you're saying but if you get an hdmi cable you can hook up the laptop to your tv, worst case? thats what i do lol

Ali Garrett Guneken

Thanks for my evening entertainment!! Love all of your content.

wow the last 2 minutes were pretty scarry.. Jim keep up the amazing work, My 2c, i prefer youtube as i can "cast" them to my living tv, i much rather watch a 1hr long video on my tv than laptop. unfortunately Vimeo doesnt allow casting..

BDP is not psychopathy. Not even close. "His lack of feeling is a sign of Borderline...Psychopathy" LOL. BDP's feel TOO much, not too little. Some become self centered and hold other's hostage with their pain but they are NOT psychopaths. It is unfortunate to see how easily these disorders get lumped together - a lot of good effort went into creating the distinctions to help sufferers and their families ---- and for the purpose of educating (or even entertaining) others *you* should know better.

Youtube doesn't have a password option. Instead they allowed unlisted videos with shareable links.

“What did the demon say about me? I’m a nice guy” BADASS way to leave a room.

Just curious...why is this video not password protected like the others?

Pizza, wine, JCS...Perfect Friday night!

The whole time all I could think was "Who decided that guy should be allowed to own a gun". Absolutely absurd

Your content is incredible!

Thank you Jim! great stuff, keep it up :)

Nothing like a JCS vid on a friday night. Awesome video. Looking forwrd to more content.

Unreal upload, I BOW to you, Jim!~

This is the best content. So worth the subscription.

That last clip with Cruz... Chills down my spine ugh what a psychopath.

Mir Berthelot

Go out dancing tonight.... or watch JCS vids??? Jcs always!!!

Haha never mind I downloaded the actual app and figured it out. Woops!!!

Myka Watson

Is there any way to get this to cast to a chrome cast device? Usually I am able to with youtube videos, for some reason i cant when in patreon.

Myka Watson

My first Patreon video!! Morgan has schizophrenia as does her father. The whole case is really crazy. These kids had zero adult supervision online.

An hour of content, you spoil us. Thank you

Is the video stopping 3 minutes in for anyone else?

Present

NEW JCS!? Yaaaasssss!!! You never fail. Youtube is now trying to show me other chris watts analysis vids and i'm like nah. You have nothing on JCS. Can't wait for part 4 of the watts coverage!

Dropped everything to watch it!! Love it!

Mir Berthelot

Can't get enough of J.C.S.

TFW you can't swim either

Notification squad💪💪💎 Always love to see new content

Thanks for watching guys. PS - At 29:46 the narrator misread the script. It's "antisocial personality disorder" not "borderline personality disorder".
