Wow. I live in Mcalester, Oklahoma (where Oklahoma State Penitentiary is) and I had no idea about these killings nor did I realize one of them is serving time there. I’ve gone to this prison several times as I work as a Firefighter/Paramedic and have had to respond to multiple violent injuries and suicides. I’m just surprised i never heard about these killings.

He assaulted her at (tackle, throw, shake, strangle) but didn't hit her. She was alive when he left and died afterwards. A horrible person, but not intentional homicide.

His reaction to the news at the end seems real. It seems real to me because I think he still felt justified in his actions. It wasn't weighing heavy on him until he realizes how far it actually went.

I’ve finished watching all the more recent 20-30 JCS videos, and now I’m going back and watching the old ones. These videos are so engrossing. The analysis is so informative and delivered perfectly. This lead interrogator was brilliant. I really hope that rookie got a stern talking to afterwards. I only wish the camera had been high enough resolution to see the look she gave the rookie when he almost fumbled that crucial moment.

The guy doesn't move an inch for like an hour and the interrogator looks like a silent film star moving all over the room. That scene where Stephen realizes they found her body, sure in hindsight, its easy to say its because they found his handy work, but, in all honesty, if someone just upped and told me, "hey, that friend of yours that is missing, we found her body." I would react pretty much the same. The sudden shock of finding out someone who was missing and hopefully alive, is now dead. I cant even fathom what it must be like. PS. I know he is guilty as hell.

I like how the detective is laying out all the logical reasons for why Stephen did it (his hair, blood in the tub, behavior on the news) and all McDaniel can say is, "I didn't do it." He sounds like he's mentally shut down and vaguely hoping that if he denies it enough times, he'll be let go but deep down knows he's screwed.

The leading up to the altercation JCS describes, is incorrect. This is very important because Sarah was made to be submissive and Rachel an aggressor. Not true. They both did nasty things to each other, but Rachel was at a friend’s house, Sarah got wind of it, and drove over with two other friends. Had Sarah not gone there, this wouldn’t have happened. Not saying it wouldn’t happen some other day or time, but this particular night, no, it would not happen.

He almost looks like a mascot costume sitting there all stiff with only his neck turned to face the detective as emotionless as a Chuck-E-Cheese animatronic I've always thought this interview was crazy. He just has his neck turned while his body faces the table and his eye's blankly stare and barely gasps out his words.. What a freak...

I actually disagree with one thing JCS said regarding Stephen McDaniel. I think he actually was shocked when he learned that her body had been found in the dumpster. He probably assumed that the dumpster had already been dumped and he was in the clear. I think the shock is real, as he knows he is royally screwed.
