Hi Everyone,
Your goal for this Community Challenge is to write something with impeccable timing.
What does impeccable mean?
Merriam-Webster says it means "free from fault or blame"
dictionary.cambridge.org says it means "perfect, with no problems or bad parts"
The idea here is to write something where you're paying the most attention to your timing. This doesn't mean you have to write something really complex - it might mean the opposite!
If you're a more advanced player and feel pretty in control of your timing, try writing something a little challenging and practice really dialing in your precision to nail the timing.
If you've never thought too much about timing, write something that feels like it's in your wheelhouse and pay close attention to your timing. Are you playing along to a metronome or a drum beat? Are you playing a little rushed or a little behind the beat? Are there sections where you might be rushing or dragging too much? Whatever the case, pay attention and be deliberate with your timing.
If you're just getting started in the world of writing music, keep it simple for yourself. Community Challenges are about meeting you where you're at right now. Write something simple and play to a metronome or a drum beat and focus on locking into that beat.
Post whatever you write to the community forum.
