Comments

As a visual learner, your lessons in general have been a gold mine. I'm going through the series in order, so my only comment so far is to maybe scribble and keep on screen relative to it's neck diagram the chord i.e. this neck is the ii chord notes or the full scale etc. :) But you've probably added that in already, so ignore me if you have. :D

Emily Raw

Not sure at 100% as I am also learning those concepts but......I suspect there might be a confusion here between chords in the Major scale where none is actually skipped with notes in the Pentatonic Major scale that is indeed a reduced version of the Major scale where the fourth and seventh notes are skipped.

Patrick Vliegen

Why does the pentatonic scale skip the IV? I notice a lot of songs include the IV chord which seems to me that it would be pretty important. Skipping the vii seems pretty logical as vii don’t seem to be used much.

Awwwwwwwwrighttttt!!!! Awesome. So excited for this series. exactly what i need.
