Very cool man huge fan. People don't know what they miss not traveling. Especially with locals. I would have never known this information if it wasn't for you 👍My goodness information you will not find in history books. The very end had me in tears them saying goodbye

2024-11-24 00:06:39 +0000 UTCIf you're ever going to Norway, you should check out the bunkers the occupying Germans left behind. They're everywhere along the west-coast. Some have been converted into museums.

2024-11-23 10:50:22 +0000 UTCCrazy thing about that gun you saw is that its just the Barrel. There would've been an entire breech block for loading and sights behind it. The gun is likely to be the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/14_cm/50_3rd_Year_Type_naval_gun And on top of that, the US kept nukes on the island from 1956-1966.

2024-11-22 04:34:23 +0000 UTCExcellent video from start to end. I'm from the south (GA) I've never seen "southern hospitality" that approaches that sendoff. I really like the tour guide's sarcastic sense of humor as well; since I'm uncultured swine I always viewed Japanese people as more rigid and proper, really eye opening.
