It's here! It's here! Today’s the day!!! TYL’s second content update, which includes the second day of Chapter 2, is finally available! 🥳👏 We’re so so excited! We’re dying to hear what you think about it 😀 And, of course, if you were to find any bug/typo/problem while playing, please let us know!

But, first of all, let’s reveal the winner of a one month free subscription to the “Pizza Menu” tier and, therefore, early access to this update! We’re excited to announce… that the winner… is… *drum roll* 🥁

Congratulations! 🎉💃 We’ve sent you a DM through Patreon, and as soon as you reply to claim the prize, we’ll send you the what you need to access the update! In case the winner does not reply to our message in 48 hours, we’ll draw a new winner following the same method.

Aaaand now that the awards ceremony is over… let’s continue! As you may know (or maybe not, if this is your first time around here, hehe), we have a secondary project page on Itch.io for the early access versions of Text Your Life so our dear "Pizza Menu" tier patreons can easily download the updated game! We’ll send every subscriber, through a private message here on Patreon, the link to access said Itch.io page along with a password that you’ll be asked to enter when you click on the link. So be sure to check your messages! 🥰

**Note for new subscribers: If you don't receive our message as son as you subscribe, it's probably because we're sleeping. Our time zone is “GMT +1”, so keep that in mind when subscribing! We'll send the message as soon as possible, promise! 😬

The download process is really easy, but in case any of you is having trouble with it, here are the steps you should follow:

1) Click on the link.

2) Enter the password.

3) The Early Access page of the game will appear on your screen.

4) On the section called “Download”, you’ll see three different versions of the game available for download: Android, Windows, Mac. Once you click on the Download button of the version you prefer, the archives will start to download on your device.

5) Now you can start playing! Just install the new .apk on your phone, or extract the downloaded files on your PC. Old saves should work properly, in case you don’t want to start from the beggining (but, as the game has suffered several changes, some errors might occur if you use an old save. We’re are really sorry if this happens to any of you!).

6) Don’t forget to check the community board on the Itch.io page (it’s at the bottom), in case you need to report a bug, or if you just want to comment on the new content! Or you can just use the space reserved for the Pizza Menu subscribers on our Discord Server! We’ll be happy to read you all.

And that’s it! 😊 The early access version will be available for 1 month (until April 12th). On that day, we’ll make the update public, and the Early Access project page won’t be available from that date on.

Antes de pasar a explicar cómo podéis acceder a la actualización, vamos a desvelar quién ha ganado el mes del nivel de “Pizza Menu” y, por lo tanto, ¡el acceso anticipado a la actualización! Nos complace anunciar… que el ganador… ha sido… *redoble de tambores* 🥁

¡Muchas felicidades! 🎉💃 ¡Vamos a enviarte un mensaje directo a través de Patreon, y tan pronto como contestes reclamando el premio, ¡te enviaremos todo lo necesario para acceder a la actualización! En el caso de que el ganador no conteste a nuestro mensaje en 48 horas, haremos un nuevo sorteo siguiendo el mismo método.

Y tras la entrega de premios… ¡continuemos! Como ya sabéis (o igual no, si es vuestro primer acceso anticipado, jiji), tenemos una página adicional de Text Your Life en Itch.io, en la que nuestros amados Patreons del nivel "Pizza Menu" podréis descargar la actualización mediante acceso anticipado. A través de un mensaje directo aquí en Patreon, os enviaremos un link para acceder a esa página en Itch.io, junto con la contraseña que os pedirá para poder acceder a ella. ¡Así que estad pendientes de vuestros mensajes! 🥰

** Nota para los nuevos suscriptores: si no os llega nuestro mensaje en un breve espacio de tiempo, seguramente será porque estamos durmiendo. Nuestra zona horaria es “GMT +1”, ¡así que tenedlo en cuenta a la hora de suscribiros! Enviaremos el mensaje lo antes posible, ¡prometido! 😬

La forma de descargar TYL es muy sencilla, pero por si acaso hay alguien que no conoce Itch.io, os dejamos por aquí los pasos que tenéis que seguir para hacerlo:

1) Haced click en el link.

2) Introducid la contraseña.

3) En ese momento se os abrirá la página que hemos creado para descargar el juego.

4) Veréis una sección llamada “Download”, con todas las versiones del juego. Cuando pulséis sobre el botón de Download correspondiente a la versión que os interese, el archivo se descargará en vuestro dispositivo.

5) ¡Ya podéis jugar! Tan solo instalad la nueva .apk en vuestro teléfono o extraed el archivo descargado en vuestro ordenador. Los guardados antiguos deberían funcionar correctamente, en caso de que no queráis empezar desde el principio (pero, ya que el juego ha sufrido diferentes cambios, pueden aparecer algunos errores si usáis un guardado antiguo. ¡Lo sentimos mucho si os ocurre algo así!).

6) No os olvidéis de echarle un vistazo al apartado de la Comunidad (está al final de la página de Itch.io) en el caso de que queráis reportar un bug, o si simplemente queréis comentar el contenido de la actualización. ¡¡Os leeremos con mucho gusto!!

¡Y eso es todo! 😊 El acceso anticipado estará disponible durante 1 mes (hasta el 12 de abril). A partir de esa fecha el juego se compartirá de forma pública para todo el mundo.
