Can Public Transit Beat Uber?

I found that Metro Micro was pleasant to use, and with a little pre-planning, could be a good replacement for Uber. This is particularly true if you're living a car-free lifestyle and reliant on mass transit. That can be a tricky proposition in Southern California, so MM fills a gap nicely.

So cool that you covered this! Thank you for going into detail about how Metro Micro pays its drivers. I live in a rare LA neighborhood that's walkable and transit-dense so Metro Micro wasn't available the last time I checked. But I'm excited to see Metro Micro expand - it's already added an area or two in the past few months.

2022-08-17 02:19:49 +0000 UTC6:10, if I’m reading that graph right it’s saying that NYC subway ridership fell by more than 80% between 2015 and 2018. Did I interpret that wrong?
