I was a bit regretful, thinking the title revealed too much. Well, it seems I briefly forgot why I enjoy this novel so much. Things do not go simply with Cerim. They certainly don't follow the shortest, straightest path. The moment you get comfortable and complacent, you get a shovel to the face. Pay attention! Anything can happen. I won't write my admiration every chapter so as not to scare people, but good grief, this series really towers over the rest.

2026-02-23 07:20:01 +0000 UTCThis kind of checks out, the lycan was able to move and fight through the tutorial mind-blanking by sheer instinct, he kind of sounds like god-level Jake from Primal Hunter. You can't mind-control someone that doesn't need to use their head in the first place, and I guess taken to the extreme, even a finger can't be controlled like that, or even instinctively rejects the control.
