The Lycan is attempting to go through it a few seconds after realizing it with just sheer instincts which is really cool

But perhaps he was dead when whoever the ruler for the 9th floor came be or maybe he is the ruler just earlier in life similar to Diligence

Only way i see it is if the mass became gluttony(im assuming, since that seems most likely) and replaced the old tutorial floor with their own. I assume this same thing will happen with Envy and the academy(8th floor) with the next beyond reset, or maybe with the next influx of tutorial rounds?

If he can’t take the hand with him, then the hand is probably alive and that’s a big problem. If it does work then Ruby will probably step in and ensure it won’t destroy all of beyond.

Or a trait, all we know it’s a werewolf, yes, werewolf can heal. But, can he copy his conscious in his fingers. . Like healing is one thing , but can you transfer your consciousness. It takes a lot of skill, like what Liss did, where she copy her mind.

Plus it's very likely for the hand to just regenerate into a full body which is quite likely considering lycans are known for their regeneration let alone absolute tier
