While Nat is right and the chaos of events/Lissandra kind of ruined any lesson intended, it seems to have been structured as an 'unwinable scenario', which sounds like a lesson in Humility. Learn that sometimes you just aren't enough, you can't do anything to turn it around.

My take is that the original stat does all three, as it wouldn’t make sense for the stat to give just purely more mana, leaving your regeneration lagging behind, but then again with potency being a part of it idk 🤷♂️ So then the upgrade is just basically you picking one of three to specialize in.
