I quite like the style, and I'm thinking of commissioning the artist for the entire cast—if they're willing!
It's to help you all visualize the characters and also to help me with future commissions.
In the pictures, you can see minion Vega, Nat, Sophie, and Tess.

I know plenty of ppl have their own image of the characters, but i think its also cool to see them somewhat close to the way i have imagined them while writing. If its a base to build on its totally fine and it leaves enough leeway to the imagination for the readers. The most important part is that YOU like it and the artist nails the "cool and cold expression" part indeed. PS.: Soph induces such Rachel (of Tower of Gods) vibes.

What you see is the artists style and a simple art/sketch that didnt take that much time. it will be helpful if i will want to commission something more expensive in the future - i can point at this pic and tell that this is how i imagine the character and then let the other artist to draw it in their style. but the main reason is that i like the style and i wanted such art :D - its simple, colors are nice and the artist is very good with expressions (especially at making the character have that cool and cold expression - its fun)

2024-11-04 21:45:20 +0000 UTCI wish i could draw as good and its nice to get some art...but… I feel like I need to be the party pooper here – at least a little bit. I don’t understand the purpose or at least I find the art insufficient in the current state to help much in the “visualize the characters“ department. For a comic strip its awesome but having the book covers as a comparison I find this art falling a bit short. Perhaps its the shading/coloring which is much simpler but its sooo “flat” . So it doesn’t help me much to better imagine the characters as its still so rough / unlively. The “future commissions” part is something I cant comment on too much but shouldn’t a reference picture have a lot of detail so others can use it as a “reference” and not just as a basic framework? So in short: For a manga/comic strip its really really nice – as you don’t often have it colored and with much detail but for the intended use its lacking (imho).

And I do share a name with Ultrakill's main antagonist, so I'll be able to threaten to spread the core of Nath' being across the stars when I read a chapter.
