Wanted to echo this. I will pretty much *never* use printed minis in boardgames unless its like, Celebrity Movie proxies for Walking Dead/Zombicide. They're two entirely different categories in my mind, Board Games either come with minis or they don't. I can't say I ever think. GOD I WISH THIS GAME HAD MINIS, that I would then go look for a patreon subscription service model to fulfil the need.

I don't see many parallels between wargames and board games and I would never print miniatures for board games because they have no relevance for me there.
