As in, Nigel is a piece on a board that she needs in order to achieve her goal, so she is moving him into position. To be insulted probably hurts, but at this point she's old and has been insulted by better, and this is the move she's making.

Despite nearly everyone else's objections, Luna seems pretty damn confident in her choices. Thirdly... i find it almost grimly amusing that it seems that basically everybody went quiet when Nigel cussed out the Tree, but then started up again with their invective when they remembered that THESE people are supposed to save them. They still don't understand the mission

I mean....it's not like she gave him some special Chaos-seeing sight in exchange or something. Like how in the game FFXIV how Y'shotla is technically blind but can see people's aether. Would be cool if like something like that was done with Nigel maybe.

2023-06-22 21:12:43 +0000 UTCIt seems more like the original godess recreated life as luna reviels on book zero, so it seems like it may be more of a case of luna being born and having to clean up that original godesses mess. my personal theory has been that Rah'Jan showed Luna destroying the world and that thats a half truth because it was showing luna being possed by the chaos. My theory is that the chaos is trying to rebuild a courpt version of the original godess so it can destroy all life not just the life on this world

When Luna said, "recreated" and Rah'Jan showing his vision to one of the old knight, there might be a connection. I thinking of a theory that Rah'Jan was from the "previous world" only for it to be destroyed and Luna had to restart. He's the sole survivor of the old world and is either out for revenge or is finishing his job from the previous world. I'm not sure about Luna's plan beyond stopping Chaos, but there could be more to her than what we see so far

Out of all of the time period she lived in this one kid had more hatred and rage than anyone else in her entire existences.
