From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for your incredible dedication to my work, this channel, and this series. It took longer than expected to get this episode out, but you all stuck with me every step of the way. I can't express how much that means to me.
This episode is a true beast—it keeps delivering until the very last frame, so make sure to WATCH UNTIL THE END!
I can't promise Episode 7 will come any faster, but I can guarantee that the surprises and action will never stop. Production and animation will keep improving, and the story will always be our top priority!
In the final week before public release, we'll still be tweaking some dialogue and sound effects, but the animation will likely stay the same. Sometimes, after watching a video 40 million times, I feel like it can always sound and read better! So, look out for those final touches in the public release!
After it goes live, I’ll be posting more and more cut content from this episode. There were so many versions of this episode, and I’m a little embarrassed to show them, but it’ll be really cool to see how it all came together. Stay tuned for that!

Disclaimer there is not a single bad episode in this series, that’s how incredible Hero’s Purpose truly is: #1: Episode 6: 73 minutes of pure brilliance! The action, music and emotional stakes made this worth every minute of the two year wait #2: Episode 2: Despite a short runtime, the reunion of Zelda and Link with that well deserved hug made for one of the most heartwarming moments in all of Zelda. Link and Shiek’s fight is also a highlight #3: Episode 5: Talk about edge of your seat intensity throughout. Perfectly executed fight scenes and jaw dropping moments of character development #4: Episode 3: Link and Saria’s meeting is one of the most emotional moments of any Zelda related media out there but Shiek and Link on the bridge deserves praise as well #5: Episode 4: Link and Malon’s scene at the beginning is just as heartwarming and bittersweet as Zelda and Link’s hug and Ganondorf’s flashback to cursing the Deku Tree is brilliant. The build up to the battle is chef’s kiss #6: Episode 1: Little slower but does its job setting everything up. Link and Skull Kid reuniting is incredibly sweet

I got a patreon account only to support you and thanks you for bringing the closure I didn't know I needed to the tragic story of my childhood hero/crush. My heart truly broke as I understood at the same time as Tatl that link didn't plan to get out of the forest, burying my last delusional hope of a happy ending for him. The last frame of him resting against the gossip stone finished to crush the last pieces of my heart. I'm sure I have seen a fanart of the hero's shade in this very position against this stone somewhere but I can't find it anymore.... Thanks for everything Majorlink. It is a true honor to have my name at the end of this masterpiece and feel as a tiny part of this incredible journey. Warmest bravo from France <3

The way I slammed my drink on the ground when Skull Kidd knowing the song of time came up? Every single reference every single mechanic was used so purposefully and so meaningfully. Even after all this time on the series it still is so rooted in the world. Im one of those fans that feels like I have this series practically memorized and brother you and your team don’t miss a damn THING in that lore. Worth every penny. This story is everything. Depression. Anxiety. Trauma. Hope. Perserverance. Sacrifice. The list goes on. I don't even know how to feel right now but chances are good I won't sleep tonight. I, as a fan, always wondered WHO can injure Link in a way like he was in TP when he was the Hero's Spirit (missing an eye). I think this is a really good explanation on what could of happened. I am interested why Ganondorf wouldn't remember Link in TP and I hope that gets addressed in this somehow. On a side note, seeing Link and Ganondorf fight in such a way remind me greatly of Cloud ve Sephiroth in Final Fantasy 7. While that fight had great meaning, and I hold it in high regard, this build up from Link as a kid, fighting him as adult in such a manner, is what I think about in the battle with good and evil in Zelda. I ALWAYS wanted a fight with Ganon/Ganondorf that felt like this. While I'm sure I may never get it, I feel blessed that I got to see it done so perfectly.

Well made, beautifully composed, and heartfelt continuation of this story...within this episode. If anything shall give justice and proper honor towards the tragedy of the Hero of Time. Your story, would have to and continue to be it. The Harmony and Acknowledgement of the past from the progenitor. "The Hero of the Sky". To an even younger chosen youth, lost in a similar cycle of fate and emotional/mental turmoil....given not just mentorship or wisdom. But companionship in the most prolific sense, showing how the roots started and "why" it should be important to them and everyone to continue striving onward! Even if you don't have all the answers that you seek. What matters....is that "one" answer you HAVE found and fully realized. Dude, genuinely. Have no fear about the time that is spent on this project you seem to love, just as much those of us here. It WAS well worth the passage of time between each entry and it IS well worth continuing to support said effort. So long as the writing spirit continues to dwell within you and the passion to continue exploring this story is present....I can claim with absolute resolve, my membership will never vanish and remain firm. The fight between Ganondorf and Link was amazing and so brutal; I thought they both killed each other on at least four separate occasions. Link finally awoke to his true purpose of being the hope for people while Ganondorf seems to have been fully consumed by malice and Demise. And the references, holy crap: all the Links, including the one from the Hyrule Historia comic, the quotes from Ganondorf from Tears of the Kingdom, Ganondorf falling in a similar fashion as his seal from OoT, Demise saying he "will house his power" just as Ganondorf said to Zant, among so many more. And Link having the last word to Ganondorf/Demise by inverting the latter's speech from Skyward Sword...such a great way to end an amazing episode. The idea that the Lost Woods consumed the original Hyrule is such a clever way to explain why the Temple of Time is in the forest in Twilight Princess. I believe there was also a glimpse of the Forest Temple from TP. This was such a love letter to all Zelda fans. Beyond that, the animations, music, script, sound effects were amazing. You should be proud, Sean. Thank you for this amazing series and I already can't wait for the next episode. Take all of the time you need, we'll be here ready to watch what happens next.

And I assume there will be a huge battle in the Temple of Time where Ganondorf will rip apart the Temple! And the sages at Ganondorf’s execution at The Arbiter’s Grounds being human specters with floating masks will be explained by your next episode, which I assume is the last for this story? Also, I assume Malon is currently pregnant? These are speculations, of course. I’m not going to spoil anything for others reading comments before watching, but your attention to detail is perfect! You are arranging the state of Hyrule’s locales and peoples in such a way that every scene and every flash back from TP will fit in nicely. OOT’s setup and this as the middle story, and Twilight Princess being the end of the story fits so freaking perfectly! I could rave about this all night, posting more and more comments acknowledging just how fantastic this is! I’m an OOT MEGA FAN, much to the point where I’ve been building Lego versions of everything in that game! And as a mega fan, I bestow upon you my nomination of being the greatest Zelda writer period. And I mean the greatest; not even the writers of the damn series AIN’T GOT NOTHING ON YOU!!!!

Animation, models, music, fight scenes and the storytelling. Skull Kid trying to reason with Ganondorf, brilliant idea and execution. Favourite part was HOT VS. HOS. I can see that part being the most divisive. Personally, I thought it was nearly perfect. Did not see Epona but still a fantastic scene. Quite amazing how you continue to make Zelda content that years from now will be cherished by the fanbase. I hope you keep doing this as long as possible.

Edit: 10/10….100/10 the music, dialogue, the nods and call backs, the HUD. I had to take a break from watching about ten times. It just keeps getting better and better, OOT is my favorite game of all time, amongst my friends and family and anyone who knows me, I’m the Zelda guy, I’m not saying I’m the biggest Zelda fan ever, but I do know that this game has an extremely soft spot in my heart. The way you tell this story is nothing short of brilliant, and it does justice, pure justice to this game.
