Also, we're talking about a documentary instead of a podcast but whatever, that's not the point. The point is that the Paris Hilton documentary is hilariously bad. She wants you to feel bad for her by making up a story that, even if true, would have been totally her fault. Also, she wants her mom and sister to feel bad, too. They probably do feel bad. I would.
The great KC Armstrong (former Howard Stern producer) joins Karl to explain why Paris's life probably wasn't actually all that bad.

It's all the abusive characteristics of school, but with less oversight, so you can treat the kids even worse. I'm sure Paris was "acting out" but she probably was mistreated there. (Recall the Dick Show episode of when the fan was a teenager and he thought someone was coming to kidnap him and he shot the intruder, it was to take the teenager to one of these schools)

2021-07-29 07:24:30 +0000 UTCHere's what Paris means when she says "figured out how to not take my pills." In child treatment facilities and group homes etc, a lot of the kids are prescribed meds. The workers give the kids the meds, and then make them open their mouths and make sure they swallowed it. She figured out a way to cheek her pills and got caught with a stash. They probably thought she was gonna take them all to kill herself. You know, the dumbest, most agonizing way you could kill yourself lmao.
