"Beat 'em Up" animation

Now, I'm thinking of doing this sort of "beat-em-up" animation soon and I would like some thoughts on it. I'm thinking of doing it in this style (see image). Sure thing, I haven't gotten around to putting it on paper just yet. I'll do couple of idea sketches for you guys ^^
