Development Update 60

Hey guys,

I hope people enjoyed the latest update (0.16.4). I know it was relatively short by our standards, that’s because I had a few things I needed to wrap up from the previous version 0.16.3 (mainly introducing Sally’s new outfit). My primary goal at the moment remains bringing the game into Chapter 3. We are getting close now and I can lay out a road map to the end of the chapter.

Road Map to Chapter 3

Chapter 2 is very full at the moment and adding to it is getting ever more complicated, so I am keen to create a clean slate for myself as soon as possible. That’s not to say I plan to rush through anything, just that I need to be laser focused on finishing the Chapter. Here are the storylines I feel need a little more development before we are ready to move on to the next chapter:

Faye - Faye is a kind and gentle girl who wouldn't hurt a fly. She refused to join in with the other girls when they paddled Cassandra, or when they pinned down Ada and waxed off her pubic hair. The headmaster has taken note of her pacifist nature and will be adapting his punishment methods accordingly. Faye will not be receiving the paddle or the ruler (although she will still get hand spankings), instead the headmaster will be looking at less intimidating means of providing therapeutic pain. His encounter with the visiting teacher, Miss Swallows, might provide him with some inspiration. It has also been heavily implied that Faye’s storyline will intersect with Nina’s with the pair forming an odd couple friendship and possible romance. So, you can expect to see some character development for both girls in Faye’s storyline.

The Twins - The twins have had several scenes spread out through Chapter 2, including Mary’s poorly delivered spanking from Claire and the ensuing cycle of punishments and revenge. We last left things off with Claire agreeing to let the twins punish her under the headmaster’s supervision. The girls took full advantage of the opportunity by tying their teacher up, spanking her, and tickling her mercilessly, whipping her with a riding crop, and then sodomising her with a dildo. Seeing how far their teacher was willing to let things go in order to regain their trust, the twins forgave Claire and agreed to accept her as their disciplinarian. Unfortunately, the twins made a big mistake; their harsh treatment of Claire will set the tone for their own punishments, with the headmaster turning the tables.

Alice - Alice’s storyline has still barely gotten across the starting line. I still haven't even given her a class spanking scene or an introductory private punishment in the headmaster’s office. She has visited the headmaster in his office though and attempted to manipulate him into doing work for her. Is she just lazy, or is there another reason why she struggles to focus in class? The headmaster will need to get to know her better to find out. For practical reasons, I don’t expect I will be able to get particularly far into Alice’s storyline in Chapter 2. However, I need to make at least some progress and give her a little more character development before her involvement in the events of Maxine’s fundraiser.

Staff Training - We started the staff training storyline in version 0.15 with three initial lessons covering some basic disciplinary procedures. Once we move into Chapter 3, I plan to have much more advanced lessons including bondage and penetration. However, for now, I just want one additional lesson focused on providing pleasure to students, followed by a practical exam. Once Debbie and Claire have passed basic training I plan to add a bunch of mini scenes around the school where we see the newly trained disciplinarians in action. We also still need to punish Debbie for being rude to Claire and I will be including that as part of this storyline. A lot of this is content which was cut from previous releases due to time constraints, so I have large parts of this written and storyboarded already.

The Class Punishments - While spanking his entire class, the headmaster theorised that if the girls experienced pain, pleasure and humiliation simultaneously it would not only improve their behaviour, but bring them closer together as a group; giving them a singular purpose to obey the headmaster and study as hard as possible. With Miss Newman’s help he was able to punish the girls two at a time increasing “Class Unity” even further. In order to punish more girls simultaneously he will need more disciplinarians, so the next class punishment can’t happen until after Debbie and Claire complete their basic training. After the third class punishment the girls will be ready for Ruth’s exam, and we can finally move on to Chapter 3. Again, I did some work on a third class punishment back when I was making version 0.15. These group punishments are ridiculously labour intensive though, so I still have a lot of work left to do.

Minor Storylines - I also have a long list of minor storylines which need wrapping up (e.g. D&D cosplaying in the dorms, faculty yoga). Plus, there are parts of Chapter 2 which could do with some improvement, such as visiting the other teachers' classrooms and seeing progressive changes in the girl’s behaviour. I am going to need to make sure all these loose ends are tied off before we can move on.

What can we expect in version 0.17?

So, the end of the Chapter is in sight, however, there is still a lot left to do. As much as I would like to promise everything above in the next update, that’s probably unrealistic. It's quite likely that I will need to split the remaining Chapter 2 content up somehow. However, until I've done all the writing it's difficult to know the best way to do this. It could be that I manage to get it all done in one big update, or it may work out easier to split it up into a few smaller ones. All I can say for certain right now is that the next version of the game is going to contain content from the list above. As I get more of writing and story-boarding done I'll be in a better position to forecast the content and timeline. Right now I’m just going to have to ask people to be patient. 

Our Next Poll and Special

One of the main reasons why I made version 16.4 was to introduce Sally's new outfit and to wrap up our previous poll so we can move on with the next one. The next poll will be about the direction of the group medicals in Chapter 3, both in terms of the examinations the girls will be subjected to, as well as which girls to focus screen time on. Bearing in mind that this is planning at least a couple of updates ahead. I’ve got a draft list of poll questions for our $10 and up sponsors on Patreon, plus I’ve got a few thousand words written and the scenes set out in draft for a Mykock’s Manor Special (set in Mr Mykock’s private spa). I am not going to set a deadline for that yet though as I have some bits left to write. I need a little more thinking time to make sure I ask the right questions. I will try to get that finished off soon and I’ll give you all a heads up when it’s nearly ready. As we’ve done before, everyone will be able to play the content in the special, but you’ll need to be a sponsor to vote in the poll. 

Summary

Our next big update is in the works, but it remains some way off, with far too many unknowns at this stage to give an estimated time-frame. However, our next poll and accompanying special is quite far along and I hope that will be released soon.
