Development Update

Hey guys,

Version 0.10 is nearing completion and I should be on target to get the beta version ready by roughly around the end of this month. I know it’s tempting to ask me for an exact date but it’s still too early to say. I have a few essential scenes that I’m not sure exactly how long will take to create. Please be patient for a little longer and I’ll hopefully be in a position to set a firm release date in a couple of weeks.

So currently I have around 600 new renders which are a bit fewer than I would normally have done at this stage. However, the reduced image count is due to the fact that I’ve switched from using dozens of image files to make each animation to using single video files. Currently, I have around 70 video files for version 0.10, which is almost as many as in all the previous updates put together. I still have a few more animated scenes left to make so that number will go up. In version 0.10 I’m also going to be including the Christmas special (about 200 renders and 13 videos) plus the short Halloween special (50 renders) as unlockable bonuses. So all in all, it should feel like a pretty decent sized update.

In terms of upcoming content, we are still busy working through the list of goals I set out all the way back at the end of November. We'll get most of the way through that list although a few things will regrettably have to be pushed back yet further. Most significantly, Cassandra is once again going to have to wait a little longer to get her punishment system completed. I’m going to need at least three to four weeks just for her content and I really don’t want to push the release back that long.

So my plan for the next couple of months is as follows. Version 0.10 will be coming out around the end of this month. Then I’ll be holding a poll to decide on the order that the new batch of girls (the twins, Faye, Liz, Priti and Alice) will get their punishment system and storylines created. While that poll is happening I’ll be working to finish off the last few items on my list (mainly Cassandra’s punishment system) with a small update (probably called 0.10.x). Then we’ll finally be in a position to press forward with detailed storylines for the new batch of girls, in the order decided by the poll. Whichever girl wins will be treated to a majorly overhauled punishment system with much-improved animations, the red butt effect and more.

I’ll post another update in a couple of weeks time when I should be in a position to set a specific release date.
