Elite Dangerous - Can you Completely IGNORE The Thargoids?

I would instead rather have more content related to their underutilized Elite Dangerous Odyssey expansion. In this video, I wanted to check out if the situation was that bad or if it was possible to simply ignore this alien nuisance. The answer is in this video.
