LR Blurb update?
Added 2025-06-23 16:18:19 +0000 UTCMy current blurb is this:
When Pandy meets Truck-kun, she doesn't expect to be catapulted into the world of her favorite otome video game, Gacha Love. Then, rather than becoming the hero, the villain, or even a background character who could safely eat popcorn while watching the show, she takes over the body of a rabbit. Not just any rabbit, but a mildly undead rabbit whose young playmate is supposed to bite the dust before the game even starts!
Now, Pandy’s got a whole new set of problems: deciding what kind of ending she wants for her beloved game, while fending off a world that’s trying to keep things as they were "meant to be". Unfortunately, she has always had truly, terribly, cosmically bad luck. Pandy’s gonna need a lot of Lucky Rabbit’s feet to pull this one off. It's a good thing she has four.
Expect slice-of-life elements mingled with (mostly) low stakes action. Humor, drama, low-key slow burn romance, no naughty bits. Weak to strong MC, but one who doesn't want to beat things up, because it's a lot of effort and seems really rude.

This blurb is....not right. Which is normal, at least for me, and usually I would have changed it at least a few times by now, but I'm not doing a lot of things I should be doing.
So, any thoughts? In what ways is this wrong, and what would give readers a clearer idea of what the story is about/like? I know it's not as low-stakes as I wanted it to be. Because that's just not a thing I do. It may also not be either properly cozy or slice-of life, but with vibes of both those things? Next, I'm probably going to need to redo my tags...
Thank you!

Yay, slice of life! As long as it's not boring. Boring is the death of SoL. 😬 The romance hasn't even started yet, but everyone is in place. It will definitely involve adults, and Pandy is clueless, which means we are also clueless 😅 I did take out the bit about low-stakes. Am I really failing at cozy? Probably....

2025-06-24 02:42:53 +0000 UTCIt's definitely slice of life still. We're watching kids go to school and stuff. If there's slow burn romance then it's extremely slow burn, and I'm not super sure where it's going to come from since most of the characters are kids.
