Format schmornat!
Added 2023-08-29 03:10:31 +0000 UTCI spent all day today figuring out how to use a book formatting app called Atticus. I tried Kindle Create and was... less than impressed. While Atticus wasn't cheap, it'll pay for itself in two or three books, and will be 100% worth it when I realize I accidentally 'corrected' Tess' to 'Test's' in half my book. (Yeah, I'm looking at you, Aria.)
Being able to fix my own files without digging through HTML and free .pdf editors or contacting the formatter and waiting on them? Priceless.
I think I have it figured out now, and it only took twelve hours! Yay! I need to create the aforementioned timeline, and then that's it! My plan for tomorrow (Tuesday) is to wrap things up, and start on my next book! If LF was kind of LitRPG lite (focusing on story, rather than stats and numbers), then the next one will be Cultivation Lite. I hope to play with some of the cultivation tropes while avoiding most of the Xianxia cultural elements, which I don't like. And, of course, tell a good story while I'm at it.
