Kantcon!
Added 2023-07-17 14:51:38 +0000 UTCI spent most of Friday and all of Saturday and Sunday at Kantcon, here in Kansas City. It's a gamer con, so everyone was playing games and painting minis at over 100 tables. I had a lot of fun, and let some really nice folks, and I hope to do it again next year!
Today, I get to fill out tax forms, put all my con stuff away, work on spreadsheets, and apply to Meeple-a-thon, which is apparently the Place To Be in November. Exciting stuff. (Don't worry, I'm going to work on a chapter, too!)
I always forget to take a picture of my booth, but fortunately my husband did, so here's proof I actually leave my cave sometimes! (Or at least my books do.) You can see I have my stickers and buttons, but I already sold out of dragon eggs (I make them for fun, so I never have more than ten or fifteen), and, of course, there are books! I also made a very quick mock-up of Rouge's Mambele, so my daughter could do some low-key cosplay, so now I use it as table decor 😏
