Yet another work in progress!
Added 2019-08-26 19:08:20 +0000 UTCFor my talk at LightBox Expo, I decided to record the process for a quick painting so that I can play it in the background during a q&a session. The talk is supposed to be 1 1/2 hours, so I figured this was a nice way to get a demo-ish part in there!
So I started this drawing today. Feels kind of nice to JUST draw a character and some water. It allowed me to focus a little more on the face and I’m happy with how it turned out. I also want to get some waterbender vibes in there, so she’ll have bright blue eyes, blue/white clothes and darker skin. I hope it works out the way I’m imagining it!
I also made some progress on the red panda illustration. This is just part of it though.
I’m not sold on the girl’s hair colour yet. Maybe I’ll try something else. What do you think?
