Hello (my autocorrect keeps changing this to Jello) my friends!

I just finished a new illustration. This is actually the third this month, which means I‘ve been more productive than usual. I’m pretty sure that’s because I have an assistant now to take care of my orders and other administrative tasks. I feel free and light and more creative now that I don’t have to deal with all this stuff anymore. I also outsourced my finances and taxes to a professional. I‘ve been handling all of that myself so far, but it’s getting infinitely more complicated this year, so it feels great to just hand it off to someone who knows their what they’re doing.

About the painting: It will be included in the rewards. As for the subject matter, I just wanted to draw something nice and fresh because I‘m eagerly waiting for spring. I‘ve also wanted to draw a shiba for a long time. They’re so cute! I guess with this piece, my usual theme continues: mundane scenes from everyday life with just the slightest hint of magic. For the next one, I actually have something similar in mind. I’m going to draw a girl walking her dog. But the setting will be very different. Oh, and I referenced the background from a railway crossing in Japan. Google Street View is great for this sort of stuff!

Thank you for making this and everything else possible. 💛 I hope you like the artwork. Here are some close-ups:

This piece gives me life! It's been so gloomy and grey over the last few weeks that my mood and productivity took a real blow. Seeing gorgeous artwork like this just charges me with those inspiration juices and I can almost smell spring in it! Your choice of colors never cease to wow me. It's like you're getting better and better with every single piece! ♥ And wow, congrats on getting so much stuff outsourced, that's a huge step forward! ^^
