Dudes ok we know all for one passed his original quirk onto shigaraki and kept a duplicate one for himself. We know shigarakis original quirk is decay, now he possesses all for ones quirk. It's the same quirk we seen right in the flashback where he touched the heads of those 2 people and granted them a quirk. So does this mean now shigaraki has the ability now to grant quirks? Would like to be sure before jumping on episode 5.
Also please if you can watch all of this video, i only say this when i feel like i have to.

Also better not forget once you’re up to date you got 3 amazing movies to watch and the 4th should be November this year.

He really wasn't a horrible villain, he was just a lost soul that found friends when society abandoned him and he just wanted to protect those friends no matter what happened. It is so unfortunate his quirk had the potential to take over the entire country, and the decision was made to take him out-- and I can understand why from the Hero perspective because he was so loyal to the league of villains that you couldn't change his mind, but its heartbreaking fam. Twice deserved better :(

2024-04-14 13:29:41 +0000 UTCKhan, you hit the nail on the head. I believe a core idea behind My Hero Academia is that Heroes and Villains are two sides of the same coin. This was also displayed well with Gentle Criminal. A man with power tries to save someone and ends up causing more harm. One mistake, one bad day, can turn a hero to a villain. But if that is true then surely the opposite must be true as well. Perhaps a good deed, a noble sacrifice can redeem a villain as a hero.

2024-04-14 13:28:01 +0000 UTCYeah the scene you're referring to (IIRC) was back in the first generation when quirks were new, after AFO gained influence two men approached him, one with a quirk he hated (the man who had spikes on his face) and another who wanted power. So AFO took the quirk away from the first man, and gave it to the second one who wanted more power. He then manipulated them and was like "You bois better follow and help me broski". So yeah you were right he can "take" and "give" quirks, which is him just moving them around to himself or others. But yeah like i said above as time went on quirks got more complicated and more entangled with human DNA and made it so that giving people quirks could create more side effects

I was thinking i remember seeing afo touching the heads of those 2 ppl, and he gave them quirks or something, he removed the spikes on of their faces lol. So i thought he can give quirks and heal ppl in a sense. But yeah hopefully the anime here followed exactly the manga, since season 5 had some hicups, i thought maybe this did too, but glad it didnt and its a waiting game for me now. Love fam❤️

2024-04-14 13:21:24 +0000 UTCYe ahaha its sorta spoilers to mention anything, the anime will explain some stuff but yeah, just gotta wait for the juicy info to come out. All we know so far is that the doctor and AFO had plans for shigaraki, which would have come into true fruition had the whole "incubation" process happened but it obviously had to get cut short because of the heroes. So Shigaraki is still stronger right now because he spent a month in there and ofc he now has the AFO quirk but we don't know at this point how much control he has of it. Also Shigaraki is different from AFO in that he cares for his subordinates more than a heartless villain would (which they've shown throughout the series). Won't say anything more except that when giving people quirks it messes with their DNA and causes potential mutations (this isnt spoilers, was in the anime and manga of S4 content) so if Shigaraki decides to give all his squad leaders random quirks it might have negative effects on them instead- if he even can do that. Sry for paragraph lmfao but hoped that made a bit of sense at least

Also im sure youre already doing this but theres BIG mha spoilers that are spreading everywhere from the most recent chapter and ive been spoiled on it too and a lot of ppl have thru yt and twitter etc. just wanted to let you know or anyone else watching this.
