Anime leaves out location Leveling Ep 7

Incase there are other anime onlys too, i think this is important to know.

At the beginning they wanted to place the story in japan instead of korea but since there're a lot of frictions between the two countries (they don't like each other that much) they decided to not mention the names. At some point hey were even talking about creating a fictional country.There's also an reason later in the story but no spoil

2024-02-18 01:55:34 +0000 UTCTherefore the anime added so much more that wasn't in the manga. When Sung fought the cerberus, he didn't lose an arm in the manga and he didn't drink the poison in the middle of the fight. Also the way how Sung defeated the Cerberus got changed

Not sure if it's for political reasons, but i notice they've been using "This Country" every time when they refer to S. Korea. And now this. The political aspect in Solo Leveling is important, so seeing them avoid country names seems a bit of a downgrade. I'm hoping that changes in the future though, idk...
