My itinerary is packed, but I’m finding some time to write.
If you follow me on twitter, you know that I went to a pharmacy here (Italy). In Italian pharmacies, the diapers are behind the counter, you have to ask for them, no they don’t have the smaller package, and no they don’t have a bag to put them in.
So with a bag of 24 Tena Slip Maxi under my arm, I stopped for gelato, cringed as I walked past the receptionist, and was glad my mom was asleep and didn’t ask me where I went. We’re in adjoining rooms and the doors are loud.
I had bagged a few diapers from yesterday and set them next to the impossibly tiny waste basket, but housekeeping left them on the floor. I’m hoping she thought they weren’t trash; otherwise, I’m going to have to dispose of them and there are few public trash cans around here. TBD on whether Tena in Europe are actually different from Tena in the US, as I’ve heard. I’ll have to save a specimen for comparison.
World class museums I’ve peed my pants in: +1
Look out for new chapters tomorrow!
