Unless you have rewatched One Piece or binged it recently it can be difficult to remember something almost 900 chapters ago!

I know he said he wants it to be built up for 40 or so episodes. But mods you should really tell him to catch up to the anime when it reaches gear 5 episodes. 1015 for example was as memorable as chapter 1000. And it would be unfortunate for him to miss that. That episode may actually surpass even episode 1015 or the chapter itself. It is likely to be a one-time experience.

There’s no way a live comment section would ever work for the official release on Sunday. Literally everyone reads the tcb when it comes out on wed/Thurs. Even Rogersbase who reads the official on Sunday doesn’t dare look at his chat and he has a super wholesome community. Unless you really care about supporting the official release (morally) there’s no reason to wait for it. Waiting for the official solely because of the arguably worse translations is ridiculous.

Hei Mods, I think we should do like a post on patreon which lists all rules and regulations so that Khan can read comments specificly for each anime. And maybe for the beginning we should have someone who reads the comments before Khan reads it just to be save like in the old facebook group. This would be awesome so that the community which maybe isnt on twicht could communicate with Khan and vise versa. Maybe then we can also do these Q&A videos like back in the day. Let me preface this: I don't have any pull on which one he goes with, this is just my opinion based on reading the Japanese manga and comparing it with the English translations: Ease of reading: TCB > Official > OPScans Flow: Official = TCB > OPScans Accuracy to the Japanese source material: Official > OPScans >>> TCB It's not an easy decision, all have pros and cons. I personally hope that he'll switch to a fan translation (even though I'm not a big fan of them), to avoid getting spoiled. As for which, I'd pick OPScans because it comes out earlier, so he'll have even less of a chance for getting spoiled. The translation accuracy is also better than TCB, although the flow/readability suffers.
