So you might have noticed that I didn't uh... post anything this month.
Added 2019-10-25 10:23:49 +0000 UTCI've been absolutely obscenely sick this entire month. As most of you know, my immune system is pretty bad, and I have a hard time getting well again once I get sick. I visited my parents for the first time in over a year, and caught something horrible. within 6 hours, my tonsils were touching, and I lost my voice for a few days, and had to whisper everything. Came home, and got over it slowly. And then my friend visited, and accidentally brought something with them, which Ashley caught, and got over in 5 days. I still have it, of course.
These being back to back had me just about helpless, and then my fibroids decided to join the party as of a few days ago, and I'm currently switching off which medicine to take, cold medicine, or my fibroid medicine, because I can't take both at the same time and have a functioning liver. You can imagine my usual fibroid problems, just trying not to bleed too much, compounded with not being able to stop coughing, and jostling my torso constantly. Without going into gory details, It's not great, and I've gotten really anemic.
And finally, we put our dog down yesterday after a long struggle with his health. He was 13, a pretty old boy, and his kidneys just couldn't deal.
I really dropped the ball this month with everything going on, but I can kind of barely function for a few hours out of bed every day. Ashley and I adore Halloween, and we haven't done even one thing this month. We haven't even decorated the house. I left to get groceries one time this month, came home, and vomited when we got in the door, I was so sick.
I don't say all this to have a pity party, or make anyone feel sorry for me, but to explain that it just wasn't possible for me to get things done.
I'm pausing everything next month, and hopefully I can get you all what you're owed and deserve in that time. I'm so sorry to keep having to put everything off. I'm going to try my best to get it together over the next week, and start next month healthy and productive.
Thank you for your endless patience. I really am genuinely grateful that you all aren't yelling at me by now for all this delay and inconvenience.
