I've been spending too much time working on the 6850M XT vs 3080 comparison for next week. The GPUs need to be returned tomorrow so I've had to prioritize the testing of that video even though I don't plan on posting it for a bit. It's just taken way too long to do 14 games at 3 resolutions on both, but it's all done now and I'm hoping to film that video today.
You'll see in the video, but performance also isn't what I expected it to be, so that resulted in a lot of time retesting.
Otherwise we're still working through the ASUS Zephyrus M16, ASUS Scar 15 and MSI GP66 for review. The Aero 16 is in that pile too, Aorus 17, and Razer Blade 15 is meant to arrive Friday.
Gigabyte also sent a second Aorus 17, one is DDR4 and the other is DDR5 with same i7 CPU, so the plan is to fairly compare both memory types in laptops - same CPU and cooling. Only problem is the GPUs are different so no game testing, but maybe I'll do something with Thunderbolt eGPU just to give a demonstration, we'll see.
Basically lots of laptops to test, but little time :) it's all coming though!
