Welcome Suica Card in Japan

Comments

Yes, the Suica expired after 28 days too.

I just got home from visiting Japan, at Haneda they sold me a temporary Pasmo card (with Hello Kitty on it). It expires after 30 days and any cash left on the card by then evaporates. Nice souvenir though. I also wanted to say, I had an original Pasmo card from an earlier visit, which I transferred into Apple Pay, and now I'm unable to add money to it. Was still able to use the last of the money on it though (at one of the places that don't accept credit cards).

Even out in the country, the trains and buses are good, George. We could live without a car... but it is handy to have one, of course!

This makes me think, what's public transport like in the more rural area you guys live in? How is train coverage, do people use buses much? How do people usually get to work? I know it'd be more car centric than a big city. I'd enjoy a video about it, if you can find enough stuff to talk about (but I enjoy you talking about basically anything haha).
