This episode has an interesting theme where the characters are slowly maturing and evolving: Brandy, who usually only lazes around, is learning to compete with other dogs; Laura, who is usually always so dull and lacks initiative spends most of the day angry or showing her feelings; the dynamic between Laura and Roberto moves another step up, and even the Ham-Hams improve on their strategies trying to help others.
It is kind of sad the series ended after this, the changes in their behaviour were interesting...
