2023-01-22 23:49:34 +0000 UTCIt's great that Japan is reopening now. I can imagine maybe less people wearing the mask outside after winter is over. Don't forget though that the lethality of the original strand of the Covid germ was much higher than the current one (the omicron variant group), and of course than the flu. And as you observed back then, Japan did great being a country where people wear masks and practice social distancing, which reflected in the small numbers. That said, the virus evolved to become less lethal, so... Good for the economy. Wishing you much more business in 2023!
