That might work in a normal country, Sylvia, but you can be sure that it would arrive back on our doorstep a few days later. They love the rules and restrictions here! :-D

In Germany they changed also rules some years ago. It was possible to send big letters with some tea bags or a bar of chocolate to Japan for cheap money. However, now it’s a package as soon as there is any „good“ inside, aside from a letter (the old style paper thing). But letters are still possible ofcourse. There is a list for the postage. Put it on and be wild: just put it into the post box. :) In general I have the feeling, the world gets more and more complicated. More rules, more restrictions. Not a good sign for a society b to be „overregulated“.
