Why Black Friday Sales in Japan???

Comments

Oh no, the phenomenon has made it to Japan! I refuse to shop on that Friday as a protest, sadly I think I'm in the minority still... alas. πŸ€ͺ

Compared to how polite they usually are, Japanese people often behave pretty rudely and become pushy in crowd situations. However, they are usually not aggressive or violent, so the stampeding dangerous behavior we see in other countries is pretty rare here, thankfully. I studied crowd control and crowd behavior in Australia and it can really be humanity at its worst, cant it.

Hi, Ed. Do you have any plans to cover anything on the conduct of Black Friday sales in Japan? As you probably know, in previous years in the US and other parts, BF sales have resulted in the deaths of store employees and customers who literally get stampeded and trampled to death when the doors open, or shot and stabbed by other customers in the frenzy to get the latest toy for their kids in the season of peace on Earth, and good will t'ward men. BF sales in many parts of the world have become nothing more than orgies of savagery and greed. There are websites that track the number of deaths-to-date. It's positively revolting, and I have never yet indulged in Black Friday shopping. Truly, a black day, indeed. SURELY... if there is any hope for Humanity, the Japanese would not stoop to such levels.
