Rubbish Rubbish in Japan!

Comments

Yes, our rubbish room would be a horrible place if we did not wash the stuff first, I guess J-B.

All very true and logical comments as always. Jerry. Truth and logic has no place in Japan, obviously! :-D

Washing my recyclables... At last something I could do in Japan. In my kitchen, I have a couple of carboard boxes I use to put those in, until they're full and I carry them to the community bins. If I put them in unwashed, I'd risk an ant infestation :) My condolences for having to store the community rubbish :/

The well meaning community busy bodies...... O-Kay.... Trying to keep peace in your household and warehouse the community trash! New title "the Unskilled Patron Saint of Recycling". I get it.... The trash gets driven to the Mom Council, then driven to "Honest Ed's Warehouse" stored for no charge. Then driven back to the Mom Council for pickup? The Mom Council is not paying attention to burned fuel pollution of those three trips or the cost of fuel. They need an economist. I think all the trash movement should be done on a bicycle..... if you're green that is. (Hint) I hope there are no mice or rat issues. Does your house fire insurance cover storage of community trash? Thanks for the unique experience of life in Japan. Cheers Jerry, in 3 Bin Ontario
