Yep. They call us "partners" but that is BS. They own the site, make the rules and can do whatever they like. Ruthless money grabbers. That is why we always have back up plans and it makes Patreon so much more important to us.

2022-08-15 00:40:01 +0000 UTCI recently saw one French videogaming Youtuber getting his channel with hundreds of videos shut down, for a completely unjustified accusation from the site. He got a lot of help, including from a lawyer for free. YT then replied, saying bringing the channel back up was now impossible, but they sent him a hard drive containing all of his videos.

2022-08-14 21:19:28 +0000 UTCApparently you need to be careful with the whole fair use thing with Japan media ect... Japanese law apparently doesn't seem to acknowledge fair use rules the way a lot of the rest of the world does. :(
