Excellent video! I have always looked at VIX as a means to DCA thought never really played it as a trade aside from buyng calls on it which didn't always work. This trade strategy is definitely worth the gamble/risk vs. reward play. Thank you Katty!

Good morning Katty,
Do you still do live morning open with members?
I haven’t seen any. Not sure if I’m missing them
Thanks

yes, VIX is for S&P and VXN is for NASDAQ

I always consider VIX levels though I assumed VIX is for overall markets not just NDX. Is it just data correlation or VIX is somehow tied to NDX?

Seemingly significant & verified correlation. Go 30!

Hi Katty! Great insight in this video, thanks for sharing!
Souldn't you compare $QQQ with VXN instead of VIX?
I haven't done the numbers but I guess the correlation will be even higher.

Great video, it will be great to know how many days on average vix stays above 30 once it enters to get an idea of the investment window!

Very interesting we can consider to heavily invest not all in still when vis reaches 30 up

Few things I will focus on now:
- correlation between VIX and other ETFs such as SPY, FNGU, SOXL, LABU, etc
- combine this analysis with % of stocks trading below their 20, 50, 100, and 200 SMA
- The No. trading days VIX took to drop from those high levels of 30+, 40+, 50+, and 70+ and 80+
