State of the Patreon 2021

Hi guys, I wanted to take a bit to talk about this last year and what I've got planned for next. 

First of all, I want to thank you all so much for supporting me this last year. It's been really rough for me the last few months with losing my cats, and all this pandemic stuff still going down, but I can't even imagine what my life would've been like if not for you guys giving me the ability to work from home. It's completely changed how I'm able to work, the time I can put into artwork, the time I have with my new kittens and my family, and I seriously cannot thank you enough.

As for the Patreon itself, I'm going to be adding new stuff next month. Still working on refining exactly what I want to do, but I'm planning on adding a second poll and another 2 tiers to the page. First will be a change to having EVEN HIGHER RES be available to a new $3 tier, as well as a $15 tier, where you can add your own OCs to the poll. This will be a purely OC poll, where the people who sub will receive a coloured sketch of their OC in whatever kinda thing they want (within the usual commission rules), and all patrons will be able to vote on who wins this poll. Going to also add a 1-3 month cooldown depending on how many people sub at this tier.

There's not going to be any downgrades to any tier either, $1 guys still get the usual 2500p images, double what goes up on twitter, so no need to upgrade if you don't feel the extra resolution is worth it. Guys at $3 and up will be getting 4k images, $5 and up will be getting sketch packs and the sketch versions of all my work from the month on the final day of the month, $7.50 still get their choice of character for the fanart poll, and the $15 guys get all of that plus their stuff on the OC poll. My goal is simply to earn enough through Patreon that I'll be able to focus more on my own OCs like Fran and Itsumi, instead of only really having time for one or two images to myself every month.

Hopefully I'll be able to snatch a copy of CSP in the next few weeks assuming it goes on sale, and then I'll finally be able to do progress videos as well. Genuine apologies for not being able to provide that despite the goal being reached ages ago, it just became nightmarish to try to record stuff with OBS across multiple sessions without paying for more software, plus my drives all being nearly full as it was before my HDD died. 

Oh and one more thing before I go, I'll also be doing weekly scheduled streams! I've been trying to get in the habit of doing this more often, but I'd like to make a concerted effort to stream art at least once a week. Twice a month I'll be multistreaming with my friends as well. This could be patreon work, comm work, who knows.
