The rain came next, everyone huddled closer, collars were pulled up watching the cook create a tasty meal. The traffic grumbled by, oblivious to the little crowd of foodies. Choppity-chop-chop and into the sizzling pan. Steam and aromas came off the grill and all supporters leaned into the perfume only to have scent stolen away by the cold wind. Onto their plates eat standing room only, or packages to carry out and away. Some time down the road in the better days ahead someone will come back for a sit down meal and say "Hello" to the cook..... "I remember you.... It was the Night of Ground Hog Day in the winter of '22, 02-02 Had a great meal.... I was there!"
