Australia is fully committed in sending a strong contingent of athletes to the Tokyo Olympics. All athletes are fully vaccinated and aware of being tested daily, as is the case of the softball team. Yes, 80% of the Japanese population are against the Olympics going ahead in Tokyo. Ironically, Australia is one of a very few countries to attend every Olympics since the modern era began in Athens in 1896. It's a privilege for any professional athlete to attend an Olympics in their respective career. Anyway, enough of the rhetoric. Keep an eye out for the Australian swimmers, these guys are almost breaking world records as part of their qualifiers. Let the games begin!

Isolation of the team in Japan (Australian media is banned from interviewing the team) has been the main focus to ensure COVID is contained in preparation for the Olympics in Tokyo.
