Apparently her ancestors won the corncob jug at a faire. It was a special enough occasion to warrant a photo of the event.

Love this. We called these dragon kilns when I learned about them. The thing I love about pottery is you can dig it up after 1000 years, give it a clean and it looks like new. Pots I made 30+ years ago look like they just came out of the kiln. My wife has a corncob style pot made around 100+ years ago and an early photo of her ancestors holding it!
