Big heads are the norm on beers in Japan

As a Swedish beer drinker not used to paying for the foamy head but the actual liquid beneath it this will take some time to get used to. If ever. That said, during my very first visit to Tokyo i November last year the beer I got didn't have heads that big. Yes, more than back home, but not the amount in the photo.
