I have the app "COVIDSAFE" downloaded on my mobile phone here in Australia. It provides a load of information (Health, Education, Business and financial support, Community safety and settlement services & Visas and the border) about the current situation regarding COVID-19. Yes, it does track your movements in the event of a COVID-19 positive person coming in contact with you. I'm all for it. No issue with yours truly regarding privacy concerns regarding this app.

2020-06-21 01:02:47 +0000 UTCThe idea of gov't or corporate sponsored apps that track your every movement AND who you meet or come in contact with is a slippery (China-like) slope I don't feel comfortable with. I don't think the illusion of "security" from COVID is worth the forfeit of privacy.
