Writing diary #21/another sneak peek
Added 2025-07-19 13:20:42 +0000 UTCBeen playing around with more stats. I thought it wouldn’t do that the ROs have stats affect their relationship with crowny but not the brothers.
So now Sally’s treatment of crowny is heavily dependent on their worth. High worth will make Sally become “meaner” and domineering towards crowny because he’s scared. Low worth has him be kinder.
Percy now also has points you can rack up with him which unlocks additional scenes with him beginning in episode 8.
To get Percy points you either have to be sarcastic, play along with his humor, ask him to teach you how to drive or sometimes go tell him to fuck himself. This change means that now he only offers you the cassette player in episode 5 if you have enough points with him.
Sorry that I make you guys replay so much it’s just nice to not make things so linear now :)

So crowny is being pressed to say something they don’t want to be someone and their response is high/low worth dependent.
High worth
“I’ve faced bigger bullies than you. You don’t scare me.”
Low worth
You wither under his eyes. “Please go.”
I’m loving high worth crowny so much.

2025-07-20 08:46:32 +0000 UTCI'd honestly rather he be mean and get it out in the open than this infantizing "kindness" provided we get the chance to set boundaries with him he is trying, in some paths too hard no doubt. He will have to come to terms or create problems where there have otherwise been none (my MC has listened to him and tried to work with him for the most part so far, though he was not tolerant of the office scene) If not that's too bad, I guess they will implode heh. Percy is trying too in his own way. I hope the siblings can find a way to get along eventually, seems like they will need support for what is coming
