My Mini Factory Backup downloads are going out!

This way your downloads are always backed up through the site! The Orc variants have been added to the Welcome box if you are looking for those.
This will be an end of the month thing from now on to help those of you who miss the download link :D

2021-02-01 00:41:51 +0000 UTCnever too paranoid. Why not get a couple of 4TB portable drives. They are under $100. One drive gives you sorta back up. 2 drives gives you real back up. When you consider the costs of the files, both in money and time, it makes sense. 40 years ago I bought a $250 bag to hold my camera equipment.... Other bags were $75, or $100. But I still have the bag, and it never broke or damaged a single item in it. Despite rough handling at times. With digital we can backup our _data_ (the equipment) not just try to store it securely. I hear (see) lots of reports of people losing data in a hard drive crash. Why aren't people doing backups? Or is my age and experience with the floppy disks and finicky drives of the past decades showing?
